Well...im stuck lol....got

cork, knife, broom head, log, bowling ball, picture, paper (with code), scroll and potion bottle...had key used

Any hints?

Use scroll on book. Sweep up the soot from the floor.

I used that on the book and it didnt do anything...restarted the game and now it does

Ah. So there was a prob with the game...Kept trying to do things but nothing happened.

put 2 items in the book...the 3rd wont go

Use log on table next to furnace. Then cut a hole in the log and use ingredients

Ive had to restart again...couldnt do anything...I think its my pc having a bad day.
