language is NOT a factor!
it doesn't work using firefox either so don't even try.

found a rock, a cable with a plug (no help from that as the thing it plugged into appears broken) and a K shaped key (used) & a W shaped key neither of which fit the drawer. the W key won't fit where the K key did.
also got a time machine that won't open, a door with no handle, some control panel that has no power and a keyboard you can't use.

Struck now!

05-29-2008, 12:48:21
I'm in the same place ... and stuck ...

05-29-2008, 12:58:35
i found another key which fit in the door thingy but that's it.

I'm thinking we need to break something but can't find anything to break

05-29-2008, 13:04:14
I found all the items, but can't figure out the code, only a URL on the celling when I switch off the light, and I got some word from that URL, still can't lead me the the code:
Escape The Future Code
Each key has a letter.

Each of these letters represents a number.

Only some of these numbers are of primary concern to you and the code you need.

Good Luck!

What's that mean?

05-29-2008, 13:04:24
you can break the window

05-29-2008, 13:11:28

Where did you get the other key?

edit : hey, I broke a window with the rock!

05-29-2008, 13:16:38
I'm out, I think maybe the author just want us to try all combinations.

05-29-2008, 13:41:10
Well, I'm out, guessing the code. Weird!

It does work with FF for me. I have no idea why it doesn't work with FF for you. :S I see you have upgraded to the version, so that couldn't be it.
The only difference I see is that I use the en-US version and you the en-GB version. But it would be stupid if that would be the problem.

Well anyway I am glad it works for you with IE. :)

05-29-2008, 14:41:55
i actually now got it to work with firefox.
i smashed the window & got some glass (used), got a bit of wire (used).
got the security card (used) and now have a Y shaped key.
I cant find where to use that or the W shaped key.

05-29-2008, 15:23:54
I'm in the same place...

Not making any progress at all

05-29-2008, 15:37:11
I get to the point where I can switch off the lights, and I can't find anything else to do after that. What am I missing?

05-29-2008, 15:43:37
Well...how are you switching off lights. Maybe if I can get to that point I can help

I'm still stuck with K key in slot on panel, W & Y keys that won't go in. That's it.

05-29-2008, 15:50:12
i can only get to the point of opening the box, can somebody give me a clue about what to do next?

05-29-2008, 15:51:40
Sure. In the box is a wire. Use that on the desk drawer. Security card on computer. Now your are stuck like me.

05-29-2008, 15:56:47
thanks michelle!

05-29-2008, 15:58:26
You're welcome. If you get any further, please let me know!

I'm going to give up for now and come back later....

05-29-2008, 16:37:50
I found another key on the books on the shelve

I'm out !!!:high5:
thanks michelle, let me know if you need some help

05-29-2008, 16:46:03
Thanks. Now I guess i'll try the code...

eh. Lucked out and got it on the third try.

05-29-2008, 18:32:13
whats the point of switching the lights off?
I can't see anything helpful

05-29-2008, 18:35:50
after you turn out the lights move the cursor around on the ceiling. There is a url and if you go to it there is a clue about the code. Someone already posted the clue in an earlier post.

Essentially the clue is that the letters on the keys each have a number. (Their place in the alphabet). You only need two of the numbers for the code. Just determine each letters number and trial and error it.

05-29-2008, 18:50:34
I'd need to know where I can even use that code?

05-29-2008, 18:55:33
It's on the right side of the time machine

you're welcome

05-29-2008, 19:22:04
that thing just keeps saying error.
got it more by luck than anything else.

05-29-2008, 22:20:20
Please somebody.... tell me where the light switch is ?

NVM... found it :)

convert the letters on the keys to leters of the alphabet and use the prime numbers as the code for the time machine...K=11; W=23

05-30-2008, 13:36:36
i'm out, i like this one, i didn't need a walkthrough :P
if anyone needs any help feel free to ask :):):):)

05-30-2008, 22:53:06
And I'm out... finally! Had trouble finding the K key (don't know why) but then on it was smooth sailing. Good game. :)

05-31-2008, 00:44:23
Done! Future doesn't look that bright - phone doesn't work - monitor won't stay put - chair only has one leg. Pretty good game.

Hmmm, maybe that was a bug that was fixed. It's working fine for me in FF.
Thanks for the hints about the last key. Was having a hard time finding that. :)

I knew it had something to do with prime numbers...since it was in the clue given. I just couldn't figure out what it was. I was looking at them individually as single digits :P

Edit** And I'm out, time 29:23
