Jellybean, There is no answer, hun. It is a rough lot seeing the one you love suffer so much. My heart aches for what I hear you going through at this time. As a counselor, I see the pain you are going through come and go every day. All I can say is that you should keep talking about it. It is the best way to work through this difficult time for you. I can tell you more about it if ya want. Here is some general stuff. Mangosteen is a fruit originally found in Thialand. The white part tastes really good, but you can eat the whole thing! It is a big craze right now especially in Asia, because they found it has some great natural antioxidant vitamins in it. I found a great picture of what it looks like for you:

well, my friend was telling me about it and said this guy in one of the testimonials said that he had bladder cancer, so he drank a bottle a day for a week and the cancer started to clear up. you never really know if anything is the truth though. i got my husband started on some vitamins and mangosteen juices. that stuff aint cheap! 30 bucks a bottle. but he's only drinking a little bit a day... it only says on the bottle to drink 2 tablespoons a day. hopefully that will keep him around longer then 3 months.

Our western culture is so niave to Asian foods and remedies. I am not sure if it is valuable for what you want (because I am ignorant to this), but I think if I were in your shoes, I would do the same, if someone suggested it. It is probably so expensive because it has to be shipped to the US from Asia, and it only grows for one short season. It is in great demand in Asia, I am sure!

Jellybean, never give up hope and try everything.
I remember when my mother was given up by doctors and then the medicine of a doctor who developed it by himself could heal her all the same. And this medicine was publically discussed very contraversially (and other doctors said of course that this was charlatanry). But still it helped her and 3 other people whom she met coincidentally much later.
