This game may look childish at first, but on further study, you can see that it actually has a really awesome concept.
LittleBigPlanet is an upcoming PS3 exclusive game that is based on user created content. Basically, you can make levels use an abundance of tools and materials, with different games, goals, rewards, and so much else that I can't think of. But the best part is, you can share it all online and play other users created levels. You can take up to four people, either online or all on one TV, into levels and the level editor. You play as a highly customizable sackperson with extensive expressions. There are preorder bonuses for the game depending on where you order it from, such as a sack version of Kratos, the protagonist of the God of War series, from Gamestop10065, or a sack version of Nariko, protagonist of Heavenly Sword, from best buy 10066. I'm very excited about this game and it is due for release this October.
And remember, it may look like a kids game, but its really for everyone.

October 21 is the official release date for America, 22 for Europe Australasia and 24 for the UK and Ireland. Other areas are still pending.

I am looking forward to it, it sounds simple but if you look into it it is a really complex game :D
09-28-2008, 06:03 PM
Heck yeah, it has so much potential, and its Media Molecule's first game too. I preordered it last month.
09-28-2008, 06:08 PM
I think it will be a big seller but with loads of other big games out too it may be overshadowed :D

This actually looks good. A creation game that I'll actually look forward to. Probably it has so many different options.

Its true, due to some offending lyrics in one of the background songs, LittleBigPlanet has been recalled and delayed and will now be releasing for sure on October 27 for US and it is rumored that November 14 is the UK release, other areas are TBA. Why couldn't they have just patched it? I don't know, Sony wanted to make new disks.

It's stupid. There are offensive lyrics in a lot of games.
Oh well, just a few more days than it should have been.

And its out!
And it Rocks!
And its Amazing!
And its LittleBigPlanet!
Seriously, this is one game that has lived up to its hype, and guess what else? LittleBigPlanet 2 is already in development *xD* they aren't wasting time.

I don't get it :S Is it for side scrolling fans? Because you said it was like spore but I don't see much creators :S The videos just show some sack thingy running through the levels
10-29-2008, 04:52 PM
Umm you make the levels using scraps of different things and the characters are made out of scraps and bags and basically rubbish
10-29-2008, 11:19 PM
Do you mean different materials? Because that's mostly what you use for levels and sackpersons. There are a few things that could be considered rubbish, like a matchbox or something.
And Heartofthedark here's some creating stuff you can do (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/21598.html), and this is just screwing around, you can get really crazy with the features.

What? It's fun... I just wish they would get the servers up and keep them that way...
10-30-2008, 10:54 PM
That probably would help.

Ok this game is out now, but instead of buying this one i bought fallout instead. So is this game any good :?
11-09-2008, 06:10 PM
Very good. I've already completed the story mode 100% without dying (Don't expect to much of a story) and released my first level.
11-09-2008, 06:13 PM
Oh oh about that, Only my wii is connected to the Internet, so is it not worth buying without the Internet?? And dont worry i wont, but if Sony can make a story from ragdolls. good enough for me :P

The replay value lies in the making of your own stages.
11-09-2008, 06:43 PM
Oh I see, Oh and you play other peoples stages as well oh, Ummm I might buy other games like Dead Space or wait to get lots of other games
11-09-2008, 07:02 PM
You should at least rent it to see if you like it.
Oh, and the narrator is Stephen Fry, if you know who that is. Apparently he also did something in Fable II.
11-10-2008, 06:31 PM
Oh yeah Stephen Fry is a big comedian over here. And i will rent it yhanks :hug2:
