The city of ember is about the fate of Humankind!
When a mysterious plague threatens all of the humans on earth, the smartest people from all across the world are put together into a city, supplied with everything they need for 200 years, when that city is "the only light in a dark world"
But now, the power is starting to fade, and they are running out of essential materiels, especially LIGHT BULBS! The citizens of Ember will have to leave their home for the past 200 years! But with nothing but darkness in ALL directions, where will they go?
