lose the n... i dont understand the logic either...

leapfrog
05-28-2009, 04:15 AM
Alright....

You have a word such as 'federation'

LOSE THE N

=federatio

donaud
05-28-2009, 04:16 AM
wait, the answer is "federatio" ?

i don't get it.

leapfrog
05-28-2009, 04:19 AM
No that is not the answer it was an example of what lose the n meant. Here's another clue:

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

donaud
05-28-2009, 04:27 AM
Honestly... do we SUBTRACT the "N" SOMEwhere in the puzzle, or at the end ?

(honest questio)

Is the first word redo?

nooter mcdurt
05-28-2009, 04:37 AM
i think youre trying too hard to make them impossible. not much fun for us.

leapfrog
05-28-2009, 04:38 AM
Donaud - There will only be one N in the whole answer, which is the n to remove as a final step.

Stitchy - There is only one word. The beginning of which is "red"

donaud
05-28-2009, 04:39 AM
i think it's all one word

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

stitchy
05-28-2009, 04:39 AM
Red Letter?

oh, one word...

leapfrog
05-28-2009, 04:40 AM
Correct Donaud - it is one word with 10 letters. RED_ _ _ _ _ _ _

Stitchy: For the second picture look at the whole picture. Email = Red Herring

donaud

I guessed "beginning" last week !!

The first pic is a may-pole

2nd is May Day

3rd no clue, I guess.

And, evidently... "pol(e)" isn't right.

Therefore... ? ? ? ?

leapfrog
05-28-2009, 08:00 AM
May Pole - May = Pole

Row

Beginning (Beg, Inn, Ing)
Cat ___ Ing

I'm sorry...I think I misled you...
yes, that is a maypole in the picture, but that was not the answer I was looking for...
what are they celebrating when they do the maypole thing?
2nd picture is not "May Day"
3rd pic is not row
and donaud you were on the right track from the beginning, haha for the second row.

Sorry, I think I was seeing double last night from being so tired and STILL in pain!

donaud

I was trying all day (for the last 10 hours) and couldn't get on!! I had to go through a whole work day without GH I nearly died!! I went to Mystery's games forum instead - that eased the pain a little :) I even resorted to Escapegames24 but it just wasn't the same.

Good rebus donaud.

LOL. Wow donaud...creative...brilliant. I could go on. Bravo.

Good solve Crimson and a high-five to Leapfrog for getting the phrase.

I had trouble getting GH for a little while as well. I imagine Crimson won't be on for awhile so I can offer an intermission. Remember its her turn.
