stitchy
06-25-2009, 06:11 AM
how is this a traditional rebus? seems riddleish

leapfrog
06-25-2009, 06:12 AM
It's not riddle-ish. You just say what you see!

No Donaud I'm not having a go - I added that so it was less riddle-ish.

Fern
06-25-2009, 08:52 AM
add a
add z
add a letter
type
growing word
lion riding horse
animal cruelty
animal act
circus
sick performance
Totally clueless.

leapfrog
06-25-2009, 11:57 AM
Its a collection of all the top half into two words: take away one word as per instruction
Bottom half is one word and its not the animal but what its doing

Both answers = musical artist

shaharc
06-25-2009, 12:12 PM
flow chart - chart = flow?
the animal is riding?

no artist I know with similar name so I must be wrong

leapfrog

Fern
06-25-2009, 12:43 PM

Chart - H = Cart + a random man + a smurf + a note - N = The answer to the rebus??

Carter
Cartman murfote.. :hmm: :hmm: Ummmm :hmm: Ummm :hmm:

as a guess.. Cartoon Network?

shaharc
06-25-2009, 06:00 PM
chart - not accurate
its not a random man
being a smurf is not important
note :)

Clank
06-25-2009, 06:09 PM

fern awesome rebus, very simple but i loved it:D

leapy not sure what type of dog that is but i'm thinking that plays a big part in this.

i'm thinking bonds for the last bit, but striking a blank for the first bit.

donaud
06-26-2009, 07:17 PM
Pretty certain i know the answer, but it's hard to swallow (no pun intended).

leapfrog

If so, my guess for yours is Jack Daniels.

leapfrog

Sorry Donaud I don't follow. I thought this thread was picture rebus?

donaud
06-26-2009, 08:27 PM
Me too.

Just wondered how a picture of wet, dewy, motionless leaves could possibly connote "rustle". Maybe my guess was wrong.

leapfrog

Congrats fern, u r a hell of alot better at this than me. Mind you, I'm not here for the rebus I'm just waiting for anyone to wish me goodnight and sweet dreams so I can go to bed.

Hey Stitch!! Yeah I know, I didn't get it either.

donaud
06-26-2009, 09:54 PM

Excellent guess (if the pics were reversed)

Fern
06-26-2009, 09:55 PM

Top looks like a game of cricket (?)

And immediately stumped by "MOON - a".

Does look like cricket but pretty far away. Maybe focus is on the grass, field, lawn, outfield. I don't know of any special cricket terminology for the playfield. In fact I know next to nothing about cricket.

2nd line maybe LUNA - A and KING = LUNKING

If the top pic could be SPE somehow its would be SPELUNKING

Maybe the worst guess I have ever deduced.

Fern
07-12-2009, 09:19 AM
For some reason my guess for the second line was London.
I'm pretty positive it's a cricket field/cricket ground/outfield/infield, but nothing else comes to my mind. :(
Enfield, London?
Clueless.

Clank
07-12-2009, 11:28 AM
Well all the words have been guessed, so you just need to fit them together ;) Its also about the position of the picture, the bottom row is under the top picture.

@donaud- nothing to do with cricket

@leapfrog- close ;)

@RBS- Its not lunKING, its the other name ;)

@fern- You have all the words in your post, just fit them together ;)
