I have a slow computer and cant afford a new one. (too lazy to buy one) Any good adventure games out there that you know of??

    Already played:
    Deconstructed
jailbreak (only got to the medic then end up failing 'cause of the 1 min thing)

        Hi deandude,

Myst is a game that you can buy.
I think that most of us have assumed that you're looking for an offline game to download or to buy.

Just to clarify: Are you looking for offline or online games?

For online games, your computer shouldn't be too old with 3 years.
Games with many animations might cause a lag on older computers, but most point and click or room escape games should run fine.

It's an old computer game that you can buy. I might be able to find a couple sites that you could buy it from. If not, since it's an old game, there are sites that are probably going to have a free version on them.

If your looking for online games, I owuld have to look around for those.

The only problem with games is that my computer has 512 Mega bites of ram though so the games are blurry or slow. The point and click games run fine though but I got tired of those.

for the online games I have already went to:

              here
              here
here But with those for the racing games I cant see where I am going

I see. I had the same problem with my old laptop with 512 MB, games with animations lagged a lot, and my CPU went high. And I couldn't get an update for my graphics card driver anymore because of compatibility issues.
However, I was still enjoying point and click games, so this wasn't a huge problem for me.

Well, most jump and run, and action games with much animations won't work smoothly on your pc probably.

                EDIT
Yeah, racing games are not really the best for older pc's.

Don't we have an adventure games section here?
You could check some older games in there by going back a few pages and then you could see if those work.

                      Deandude!

I don't know if you like the series but SimCity is offering it's original for free if you sign up
                      http://simcity.ea.com/play/classic/index.html

This is more of a browser based text game if your into those
                      http://rwk2.racewarkingdoms.com/index.html

IGN a very popular game review site has started offering free online games
                      http://games.ign.com/index/freetoplay.html

My computer is or close to three years old and Spore works just fine on mine
                      http://pc.ign.com/objects/735/735340.html

Here is a list of Adventure games for the PC you could check out if you want, i'm sure you could buy them off of EB games (I think it's Gamestop for the US) for cheap
                      http://pc.ign.com/index/games.html?c...rn_all=is_true

Newgrounds has some games too and for me the Defense games run smoothest if you want to try there
                      http://www.newgrounds.com

You could try the original Sims as it isn't that harsh on computers
                      http://thesims.ea.com/
As for the sims I'm sure there are certain ways to get it for free like a certain vampire may have..

EB games and Gamestop are both here in the us. They recently merged together.
