Eurovision Song Contest 2009

Lets talk about eurovision 2009. What do you think about it?? Which country will be first?? Which country's song did you like??

I think first will be Turkey. I liked Turkey's song a lot!! The song's name is 'Düm Tek Tek'(the other name of the song is Crazy for you) and the singer is 'Hadise'.

Well I live in England and we have had very bad luck in the past 6 years, and because countries in the baltic islands are voting together. But this year we are having a reality show to decide who should win.

I haven't heard any of the ESC 2009 songs, yet. And I had never heard of the band that was chosen to represent our country before... :laughSMILE:
When it comes to guessing the future winner, I have to say that I have no idea. :D
But I do hope that we will win, and Lordi's victory in 2006 wouldn't be "alone" anymore. :P
As you may have noticed and/or guessed, my home country is Finland. (h)

Norway came first
Iceland came second
Azerbaijan came third
Turkey came fourth
United Kingdom came fifth :D:D:D:D (lots better than last year)
Estonia came sixth
Greece came seventh.

(and the rest just came below seventh :P)

I thought everyone was gonna vote for their neighbours (and most of them did) but most "12 points" went to Norway. I think it was right, Norway's song was the best! Congrats Norway!

But Shqiperia sent the best song, since they joint the Grand-prix d'Eurovision (Song Contest sounds horrible in my ears). I wished them a better result. The german song was not so good.
Perhaps, next year shqiperia will will, and it should join EU soon! I like this country and its people so much!

Yeah ur right, most countries voted for their neighbours, but there were about 8 countries who kept getting votes.

Kosovo is under next to serbia right? and near croatia and the rest of the balkan countries? *wonders why it isnt in the EU*?

Shqiperia is a country! Kosovo's a country too, it was under Serbia but declared it's independence on 17th February 2008! :D Shqiperia and Kosovo are both populated by albanians! We speak the same language and have the same customs! The only difference is that Shqiperia (Albania) majority are christians, and Kosovo's majority are muslims!
