Hey Kam. I thought I would try this one. Might need a little time catching up.

@ ozchick
Try his proper name.

Uncle Rim
05-02-2009, 05:51 AM
On the page you are on, that is the answer from previous question, there is a link to clones.
Sorry Misterry, I don't know how better to express something like that without saying what it was. If I said it sounds like <<removed>> would that be acceptable?
Mistery
05-02-2009, 05:54 AM
Sorry, I don't think so.
You shouldn't include anything in your posts in riddle threads that might let somebody get on a specific level without working through previous levels :)
Therefore no full questions of the level (because anyone could google those hints), and no plain answers or clues from which everyone (or even some people) could guess the answer :)
You could for example say, it's also similar to a******* but
played horizontally. Also pay attention to the year
Uncle Rim
05-02-2009, 06:10 AM
This game isn't a url changing one. You can only enter the answers where the question is asked.
The question was "A******* clone on a Commodore 64". Your example would be less than helpful.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 06:21 AM
Allright, I see :)
In that case as you can only enter the answers from specific levels, you might be less cryptic with giving hints, but still please don't post answers. :)
Btw, I checked the game now, and it's fun :D
Lost on the frequent "neighbour". I'm not sure what it's referring to.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 06:49 AM
Just look up the animal, and check their "aggression".
I'm lost on Chain 6 after I got the name of the band member.
I don't get what those 3 letters mean - or better said I looked them up but I don't get what the question or relation to the previous level is :S
Uncle Rim
05-02-2009, 06:51 AM
Elle, it is a reptile related to the aligator.
Mistery yob means year of birth.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 06:52 AM
Ah thanks :D
I didn't know. yob has other meanings, too. Why not put a full question - it's not obvious to everyone :S
Thx Mistery and Uncle Rim for the previous hint :)
Stuck now on 8 part E about the opposite commander :(
Mistery
05-02-2009, 07:31 AM
Just check the article about him, and there's an English commissioner ;)
On chain 11 trying to figure out which spelling they want for the empress :P
EDIT
Lol, got it.
Chain 13 the first question, I don't understand the first part of the math :P wc??? I thought it was water closet and had nothing to do with math... ::(
Uncle Rim
05-02-2009, 07:43 AM
I'm on 12 at the moment. Should be there soon.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 07:47 AM
Okay :)
Hmmm, I think it could have to do with car racing...
Still checking possibilities what this math means, not quite there yet.
EDIT
Got it :D
Hmmm, chain 14 the album title where we need to replace a word.
It doesn't work. Or is this a trick question or so?
Got it - there is a difference of an "a"...
Uncle Rim
05-02-2009, 07:57 AM
Kimi Raikkonen was the 2007 Formula 1 champion. He drove for Ferrari. The canterville ghost was written by Oscar Wilde
The answer is Billy Idol's sister.
Part C - Cannot think of another carnivore :hmm:
EDIT: POP got it :P
Mistery
05-02-2009, 08:02 AM
Just check the article, it's also a
feliforme
Stuck on chain 16 the successor question.
Do I need to find a movie?
EDIT
Got it :D
EDIT2:
Now on chain 17 stuck on the leader...
Tried a few names but none of them was correct.
Btw, does this game autosave?
Uncle Rim
05-02-2009, 09:05 AM
I'm still stuck on the moon and half a shilling one.
I hope that since we had to download it, there will be some save function.
I'm stuck where you were Mistery. The successor part.
I hope it does autosave otherwise were in deep trouble :P
Mistery
05-02-2009, 09:09 AM
@Uncle Rim
That's a tricky one.
Look up who made a movie of it, then check his next movie's title :)
Ah, that counts also for you elle :)
Still stuck on the leader, I think I tried all names from 3 Wiki articles :haha:
Found it!
He was a commander at the battle mentioned in part A. You need his proper name.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 10:07 AM
Darn! Tried the "wrong" form :(
Thanks elle :)
I have NO idea what 17 part C is all about :o How do I relate it to the previous part?
Mistery
05-02-2009, 10:14 AM
The bella one? If so, I'm stuck on this one, too.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 10:17 AM
Well, what was the last name of your previous answer?
Check the village with that name :)
I'm stuck on the next one.
Thx Mistery. Somehow my mind was still stuck on the previous country :P
Mistery
05-02-2009, 10:25 AM
Lol, I can believe that :haha:
Hmmm, now I thought of the actress who played in that movie about him, but nothing works.
Still not sure how not bella is related to the previous answer :S
@ Mistery
Where he was born.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 10:29 AM
Oh, just got it myself and wanted to post, thanks anyway :)
Similar, related song? That is SO vague. Anything could be the answer :o
Mistery
05-02-2009, 10:39 AM
I'm stuck on that one, too, but just got here :)
EDIT
Got it :D
Look for trilogy in that article :)
Hmmm, don't understand that catch in the 90s one.
EDIT
Lol got it :haha:
Adding a D doesn't give me any movies :( I'm lost!
Mistery
05-02-2009, 10:59 AM
Oh, it does! add it at the beginning and look for the main actors
You don't need the title of it :)
Stuck on the first name 3/5 etc, question in chain 20.
Got the first part, not sure about second part.
My bad! I just realised they are not after the title but the actor :shy: How stupid of me :D
Mistery
05-02-2009, 11:04 AM
Lol, I first tried the title, too. :)
Uncle Rim
05-02-2009, 11:05 AM
I'm feeling so left behind at the moment.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 11:05 AM
Uncle Rim, post if you are stuck :)
I'm still not further with the first name last name thingy.
Uncle Rim
05-02-2009, 11:09 AM
I'm at 19/4 Harjola's catch
got it!
Mistery
05-02-2009, 11:12 AM
Aaaah got it (the first name thingy) :D :dewave:
Uncle Rim
Look at it as his
private catch :P Think of relationships
I have the first name but not the family name :(
Mistery
05-02-2009, 11:18 AM
From the same person :)
Then look up meaning.
Just got to chain 22.
Darn, thought I had the answer for the highway, but it seems to be wrong :(
The niece or the uncle? :hmm:
Mistery
05-02-2009, 11:24 AM
Both have the same last name :)
Got the highway, there are so many different numbers :P
Stuck on the church one in chain 22.
Uncle Rim
05-02-2009, 11:28 AM
I found this "shama means candle in urdu" and though "that's so easy". Alas it wasn't.
I know they do :P I think I'm choosing the wrong letters cos I'm not getting it.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 11:30 AM
You can PM me what you get if you like :)
Figured out the church one :)
Was my lack of knowledge of English, lol. Had to look up sth first :haha:
Just arrived to chain 25, and it starts out with a puzzle again :P
EDIT
Chain 26, 2nd question.
What year??? Nevermind, I'm dumb, lol :P Got it :)
I don't know who the father is :o
:P
Mistery
05-02-2009, 12:10 PM
Just wiki the creator :)
Thx Mistery. Although I had previously found some other creator. Oh well. Trying to catch up. I'm now on 22 :D
Mistery
05-02-2009, 12:19 PM
Great :D
Just started 27 :)
That "church" bit has me confused now too!
Mistery
05-02-2009, 12:37 PM
Take away the part that the clue hints to, and then just do a search for the remaining 4-letter word along with "church" :)
I'm completely stuck on the last question of chain 27.
Indeed :D Thx for pointing that out to me Mistery. I've been riddling all day that I'm not thinking straight anymore :P
Mistery
05-02-2009, 12:43 PM
Lol, me neither :haha:
Finally solved the last question of chain 27.
If anyone gets stuck on that one
it's an abbreviation or better said initialism
And stuck on the first question of chain 28, the small dog one. No idea, and didn't find anything that made sense...
OMG, it just hit me :haha: Got it :D
It seems that we're having a storm with thunder and lightning, so I might go offline when it gets bad.
Wow--this game took off while I slept! I got past the one I was stuck on..didn't know the jargon to look for the clue so thank you!
Mistery
05-02-2009, 01:16 PM
Welcome back KAM :)
Currently not able to find anything useful for chain 28 question 3 (the medical one).
Hi KAM :)
Well I'm staring at 24 part B and not sure what the question is asking.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 01:29 PM
Remind me which one it is?
If I go back, I have to do the current chain again. :P
I am stuck on the last chain in 6. It's asking how many hours --and the answer is only supposed to be 4 characters. nothing i've tried works
The one that says "First to use the Greek origin of the term".
@ KAM
Calculate the days as well. The answer is a number.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 01:34 PM
Look it up on Wiki, and already pretty at the beginning of the article (history) you'll see who has used this word first :)
@KAM
You find the time on the right edge of the screen. You need to convert the days to hours, too :)
I thought I tried that..I don't want to post too much so edit me please mistery is it is..but I found 6days 2 hours which would equate to 146 hours no?
EDIT*** wait..maybe it's not looking for just that mission but hours in space total! ooo I'm going to try that!
*edit--I believe that is what it is looking for..but perhaps my math is not good...isn't 300.74 days equal to 7217 full hours??
Mistery
05-02-2009, 01:48 PM
Sorry was sidetracked.
Yes, if you have the right person, just look on the right for the total time :)
oy vay- the person! not the ship! -thanks Mistery!
Thx Mistery :)
Now I'm trying to figure out who was the most hilarious c**** d****** in the film industry.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 01:56 PM
I just looked up the list, and chose the comedian (or better said person who plays funny roles) that I know :haha:
Thx Mistery. I never knew he played that role
Mistery
05-02-2009, 02:06 PM
Lol, me neither :haha:
Still stuck on the medical question on chain 28, and I think I'm too tired to fry my brain now :P
I'll try to catch up Mistery and help you out. I'm working on 27B at the moment :D
Mistery
05-02-2009, 02:14 PM
Wow, you're fast :D
But not as speedy as you! Is 27B related somehow to 27A? I fail to see the connection.
Mistery
05-02-2009, 02:29 PM
Sorry, my brain is empty (or too full? :P) what was it about?
EDIT
Glad you got it :)
Sorry, but I'm really too tired to continue now, I need a break.
Good luck if you continue, and see you later :hug2:
I still need to catch up...onto 19 now
edit--stuck on 21D --saw the hints given earlier..but still cannot find "the father"
I'm stuck at the very first part asking for a governor.
@ KAM
He was a programmer for that company.
thanks elle..trying to catch up to help you out if I can!
Uncle Rim
05-03-2009, 03:32 AM
Elle, did you get anywhere on that question? Seems to me the possibilities are endless.
Hi Uncle Rim :)
If you mean 28 then no. I'm still stuck there. How about you?
Uncle Rim
05-03-2009, 03:42 AM
Been reading about a lot of dogs. Still no idea where to start.
Mistery got through this one, so it must be possible.
In the meantime, I ended up skipping the one about Madoff's neice. Any pointers for that one?
@ uncle rim
take the neice's name and use the first three letters of her name with the first two of her last, same as her uncle. then search for that
Uncle Rim
05-03-2009, 03:54 AM
Thanks Kam. I spent hours looking at that page and skipped the bit that works.
stuck on the small dog bit now
calling it a night..if someone gets it..please post a big clue for me :) GL
Uncle Rim
05-03-2009, 05:36 AM
Got it! A state of Mexico
LOL--- just had to jump out of bed... yo quiero taco bell can't believe I didn't think of it earlier!!!
I don't understand why his name doesn't work though :hmm:
it didn't for me at first either and then I copied and pasted and hit enter until it worked
Mistery
05-03-2009, 06:54 AM
Hi all, I see you're catching up.
Let me know if you can help me out with the 3rd question (the medical one) :)
mystery take the five letters it tells you and search that...then you get a medical diambiguation...that's your answer
need help with 30D the transportation center
sorry mystery--just looked back at it...search the THREE letters and pick the medical sounding one....
Mistery
05-03-2009, 07:05 AM
Hmmm, no results with those five letters (btw, I only tried the two first). Do I need to separate them in my search?
There is definitely a bug in the game cos the answer for 28A doesn't not work for me no matter how many time I copied and pasted and pressed ENTER till my finger dropped :frustrated:
Mistery
05-03-2009, 07:10 AM
Thanks KAM :)
Elle, it should work :S
PM me what you copy-pasted :)
I've skipped 28 altogether and I'm now on 30C. But I would like to complete 28 too. Mistery PM is on it's way.
be sure to let me know what sense you can make of 30D or I may have to go to sleep again...it seems that's the way I come up with the best answers :)
Uncle Rim
05-03-2009, 07:27 AM
Elle, make sure you are actually pasting something. I am unable to copy from the game. I had to use my browser to do that.
Mistery, it's the second choice on the list. Not the article about medical gasses. That is, the spelt out word with the three letters in it.
Mistery
05-03-2009, 07:32 AM
I already got that Uncle Rim, but thanks anyway :)
Currently struggling with the dynasty question.
mystery use the first name for the dynasty...i wasted a lot of time looking for the last name :)
Any luck with the centre of transportation?
it's funny you just spelled it that way..I was just investigating if it might be a clue that we needed transportation in Centre, France? so far no luck
Got it
It's the airport.
Hmm.. I wonder if 31A is after a number :hmm:
you're a genius!! I tried that so many times...this game might be getting a bit buggy!!! that was one of my first guesses!
31A it is a number 4 digits including 0 and decimal
I'm stuck at the rocket...
EDIT: I was googling half the information. Got it now :P
EDIT2: Don't know what to think of for 31F :hmm:
31F --site for launches :)
I just got it KAM. I was mislead and was thinking of web sites :shy:
Uncle Rim
05-03-2009, 08:14 AM
31B is wrong. 1550km is quite a bit bigger than 1.6km.
32B I think I found the answer but it's only two words :(
Doh! Was looking at the wrong year. Now I have a three word name that doesn't work LOL
@ KAM
President of PFF
33C: Not rococo... ???
everytime that gets me!!! Grrrrr...thanks Elle...I think my tylenol pm is kicking in
Your welcome KAM :) I'm still stuck on the rococo bit. HELP!
Mistery
05-03-2009, 08:34 AM
Hey, you're too fast :haha:
Breakfast time with family - I'll be back soon, and I'll try to catch up :)
searching...I don't even know what rococo means yet? :)
It's an art style.
EDIT: Got it! I was just wording it wrong :P
EDIT2: Feeling lost on 34B :o
gl all...going to sleep again
Uncle Rim
05-03-2009, 08:57 AM
Night Kam.
Goodnight KAM.
Anyone has any idea who that "friend" is?
Uncle Rim
05-03-2009, 09:12 AM
Sorry Elle. I'm just starting 34.
Friend of .... Elle. Damn not enough letters!
Uncle Rim
05-03-2009, 09:50 AM
I got it! It is the meaning of his first name.
Mistery
05-03-2009, 09:52 AM
Hmmm, stuck on the ethnic group, read the article, and tried all with the correct number of letters, nothing :(
It's still about the country and not the continent, right?
Uncle Rim
05-03-2009, 10:00 AM
Kam helped me out with that one. First find the region. Then follow the links of all the ethnic groups to find what they call themselves.
Stuck at 35B
@ Mistery
Google the country + ethnic group. I didn't find the answer through wiki.
Mistery
05-03-2009, 10:04 AM
I found it - I tried with a different spelling that was in the article, it's just so tricky with the different spellings in the articles :S
I'm stuck on 35B as well :(
Mistery
05-03-2009, 10:52 AM
31B is wrong. 1550km is quite a bit bigger than 1.6km.
Yep, it is wrong... :pcsmasher
According to this logic, I'd have the size of an amoeba :rofl-smilie:
EDIT
Elle, the successor one or the hebrew one?
I got the successor one.
check the very bottom of the page, it's about a prize, then just check the list
I'm stuck on the hebrew one, not sure what to relate to it...
Is charachter a typo or is it intentional :?
EDIT
Got it :D
Now let's see chain 36.
Thx Mistery. I think the answer for 35C is not working again because of the accent :hmm: (Just like the governor one).
Mistery
05-03-2009, 12:48 PM
There is no accent if you mean the last question :)
Stuck already on the first of 36. What Wiki tells me is not accepted.
*Goes to search more*
EDIT: Got it, but it was another ruler :S
Hmmm, now on 2nd question. Another one, well there are many...
*confused*
None of the "other ones" I found are the answer for 36B. Don't know where else to look :(
Mistery
05-03-2009, 01:06 PM
Yep, I have the same problem, no idea what to relate it to. Tried everything from the disambiguation page aswell. It's somehow trial and error... :(
Found it :D
His successor.
Mistery
05-03-2009, 01:11 PM
Great, tried that already, but the accent.... ARGH!
Sometimes you need accents sometimes not :(
Thanks elle :)
I'm having trouble understanding what the clue at 36C is trying to say :wht:
DOH! Stupid me :shy:
Mistery
05-03-2009, 01:18 PM
Lol, I didn't understand and still don't quite understand. The last word is part of his name, lol :P
Just search for that name and find a well-known sportsman
Stuck on the last question now.
Not sure if it's still related to that person, or another person with the same first or last name..
Mistery
05-03-2009, 01:28 PM
Got it thanks :)
Chain 37, 4th question now. Got it :D
There are two kinds. Which one is it referring to? (I'm referring to 37D)
Mistery
05-03-2009, 01:42 PM
Two kinds replaced the one that you're looking for :)
Read the first couple of paragraphs :)
hey gang...happy sunday!
Still stuck where I left off with the humanity one 33C. any hints
Mistery
05-03-2009, 01:52 PM
Welcome back KAM :D
My mistake was to look for a site / a bigger area - you need a specific "building", a m***** :)
I'm still on the first question of 38.
Thx Mistery. Got it! But stuck immediately after the next section about the predessecor :(
Hey welcome back KAM :D
OOPS found it! It was staring me in the face :P
Mistery
05-03-2009, 02:11 PM
Still stuck on the sport question...
I am working on the "Friend of" the guy from Cape Town...any hints?
Mistery
05-03-2009, 02:19 PM
Just look up the first name, and check what it means :)
ty again...I saw those hints earlier, but thought you were referring to another question!!
I'm stuck on 38 too. So I skipped 38 and 39 for now and solved 40 and half of 41 :P
Mistery
05-03-2009, 02:49 PM
Yes, the first question on 38 is so general like "car brand", and the first question of 39 is too obscure for me.
I'm not fond of jumping around, so I might take a break.
you guys are so fast! any help with the one looking for an instrument used with another one?
I fully solved 40, 41 and 42. But now I need to go back and solve 38 and 39. It's getting late though and I think I will leave this for tomorrow :)
@ KAM
It's used to measure the altitude of a celestial object.
Mistery
05-03-2009, 03:08 PM
you guys are so fast! any help with the one looking for an instrument used with another one?
Just look up the article, and read the first paragraph carefully :)
Bye elle, sleep well :hug2:
And thanks for your help :)
Okay, I brute forced 39a :P
And finished chain 39 :)
Now only if I could start 38 :(
Thanks mistery--still stuck on the last one of 37...I'll see if I can help when I get there :)
Mistery
05-03-2009, 03:25 PM
Just read the first couple of paragraphs in the article :)
http://www.gamershood.com/forum/showpost.php?p=879049&postcount=140
ty---I spent all that time reading about the oct*** !!!
Mistery
05-03-2009, 03:32 PM

Mistery
05-03-2009, 04:24 PM

Mistery
05-03-2009, 05:51 PM
Just started chain 44, trying to catch up :)

Mistery
05-03-2009, 06:00 PM
On the 3rd question now, can't find out which show is meant.
*keeps searching*
Mistery
05-03-2009, 06:06 PM
Thanks! :D
I played this game today, then closed it. Now I want to play again but it only says 'Check your network connection and try again.' Anyone else with this problem?
OK I had to download the game again, it updated and now working.
Mistery
05-03-2009, 06:11 PM
Hmmm, no, I had no problem quitting and continuing :S
Maybe they are currently doing something? :S
Is the 4th question on 44 related to the previous answer?
Nevermind got it :D
@fern--haven't had that problem
Mistery- yes...the director was involved with writing this too
but you can search it and get it easily without him
Mistery
05-03-2009, 06:22 PM
Yay, finished 44 :D
If you're still stuck on the last question:
Do you know which game is meant? If you do, then look up the article about it, and look for the classic one :)
Seriously stuck on first question on 45 :(
Mistery
05-03-2009, 06:46 PM
the multinational company one
oh right--i searched google...looking for a company whose acronym is three letters U**
Mistery
05-03-2009, 06:53 PM

LOL! :haha:
I was way overthinking :P
Great progress, guys! Remember to send your scores to the server every once in a while, too. ;)
31B is wrong. 1550km is quite a bit bigger than 1.6km.
This has been corrected.
I played this game today, then closed it. Now I want to play again but it only says 'Check your network connection and try again.'
Did it not work when you just closed and restarted it (without redownloading)? If somebody else experiences this or any other technical issue, please keep reporting (here or official forum). Thanks.

Just started and stuck on 11.2
I thought the movie was A******** S**********
year fits, and amount of strings and characters is correct, though that doesn't appear to be the answer. I can't find another movie that has the asked requirements.
Any help? :)

Hi Adventure :hug2:
Sorry, it doesn't ring a bell, it's too far away, can you give me more details in a PM?

Hi Mystery! :hug2: Thank you for the offer, but KAM was faster with PMing me. ;)
Got it now. The answer I had was correct, but I put a space at the end. :P
Thanks for confirming my answer was correct KAM. :)
Mistery
05-03-2009, 10:23 PM
Oh good :D
Yeah, I had this "space" problem a couple of times :haha:
Adventure
05-03-2009, 10:55 PM
Hehe, well when even an alien has "space problems" it's not so strange a butterfly has them too. :haha:
And now really stuck on 15.3
The answer wiki gives me doesn't fit. :hmm:
Gonna pm you Mystery. ;)

Good evening Uncle Rim, it's midnight here :haha:
Well, I guess we'll be stuck on chain 51 for a while...
Goodmorning from me too :)
I see you all made a lot of progress. Can I pls have a clue on 38 about the sport?

Good morning Elle, I'm stuck on that one too.
Mistery
05-03-2009, 11:33 PM
PMed you, too.
But to give a general hint to everyone in the thread itself
the word is part of a character's name
If you need a bigger hint, just post :)
I'll be around for 30 mins before going to bed.
Sorry I'm still stuck on the sports one, don't get it despite your PMs. Guess my braincells have all died :(
I'm stuck there too. The only sport thing I can think of is i***m** and t*******n, but I'm afraid it's a completely wrong path.
Edit: OK I got it but it was just pure luck. If I start with another letter it could have been a day to find it... time waster question. I didn't liked this one. :(

I needed lots of hints and almost died on that one :P
I can't find the Puerto Rican on 39 :(
Mistery
05-04-2009, 12:20 AM
I didn't find it in the article, so I was searching for the whole question (or most of it) and on the results list it came up among the first few :)
Uncle Rim
05-04-2009, 12:29 AM
Elle was that 39B. If so, you are looking at the wrong country.
Adventure
05-04-2009, 12:33 AM
I am feeling dense on 22.4. :( The "Plus Yard" question.
I know I am supposed to add it to the previous answer but I don't know what I am looking for. It's not the city it's stationed.
Mistery
05-04-2009, 12:35 AM
No, add it to the country name ;)
Adventure
05-04-2009, 12:36 AM
Hmm yes, but the previous answer was the country. Am I missing something? :?
Mistery
05-04-2009, 12:37 AM
Now you should just look at your signature :P :haha:
Country + Yard = ?
@ Adventure
It's about what it is. Does that make sense? :hmm:
Adventure
05-04-2009, 12:41 AM

I know that. And I even thought about my sig, and tried
the last name of what is in my signature, and his companion/friend.
But that didn't work either. :(
@ Adventure
It's about what it is. Does that make sense? :hmm:
I am afraid not. :S
Edit: Uggh, finally got it. :P I was overthinking it. :haha:
Thank you both!! :D :hug2:

Good luck all! :)

Goodnight Mistery :)
I also meant that one, elle :)
Just input
p***** r**** n******** plus year into the search field, and look at the list of results ;)
It's official! The answer for 43A does NOT work for my game. Had the exact same problem with 28A. The game is buggy and it's getting a bit annoying and very frustrating!!! I hope the creator is reading this and does something about the bugs.
EDIT: I just reported those two broken links. Hopefully the problem will be fixed soon!

Anyone made progress with 51C? I ran out of ideas...
For 17B:dog in norwegian
so no one went ahead and found the answer for 51C for me while I slept :)
This one has me completely stumped!!
Mistery
05-04-2009, 12:33 PM
Elle, I'm really sorry that those 2 answers don't work for you :(
I'm wondering what the reason might be... :S
Hi KAM, no I have absolutly no idea on 51c. Tried everything I could think of, but I'm not even quite sure what the question is :P
I started 52, but stuck on 3rd question. Found a person, but what now?
EDIT: Doh, got it :P
Finished chain 52 :)
3rd question chain 53, found name and year, but it's only 3 words, not 4. Tried also with title, with his nickname etc. What am I missing?
Btw, I assume it's "founded" and not "found", right?
Hi Mistery. I PMed the creator and he said that maybe it's a problem with different keyboards. So he will be eliminating the accents from the answers in order to correct this problem. I'll go back and check whether my answers work now.
As for 53C insert the word "in" infront of the date
Mistery
05-04-2009, 02:39 PM
I hope that these changes will fix your issues :)
ARRGH, that's mean! :frustrated:
Thank you :)
Just starting 55, do I have to look for a building? Did I understand the question correctly?
Hmmm, I have found some blocks, but none of them work :S
Google that exact phrase. It will give you the answer.
Mistery
05-04-2009, 03:04 PM
Hmmm, I'm still getting too many results...
EDIT: Okay one of them worked finally.
Starting now chain 57 :)
(and still hoping to get a hint on the prof one :P)
I couldn't find the prof either :( I got to skip a few questions since no one was around to help me out.
BTW can I have a hint for 44A about the reality series? The one I get is only 2 words not 4!
Mistery
05-04-2009, 03:19 PM
If you got one with Roman numerals, change it to normal number - there are different spellings on wiki :)
ARGH, I went back to check 44, but now 57 gives me the same question as on 44 :(
EDIT
Sorry, my bad, I got confused :$
My hint was for 57 :$
Wait, gonna check 44 again.
Okay just look for r****** t******** b****** plus year, and one of the first results it will be :)
Going back and forth tends to get a bit confusing at times. It happens to me all the time :D
Mistery
05-04-2009, 03:32 PM
This is why I don't go back and forth, only when I try to help I go back to see what the question was (if I'm not in the middle of a chain :P).
Chain 58 2nd question, I found only 1 country but this doesn't work :(
EDIT: Got it, needed another name for it.
Does 44C refer to the actress on 44B?
58B: I had the same problem too! Another name for that country :o?
EDIT: Worked out 44C!
Mistery
05-04-2009, 04:41 PM
Yes, there is an old name and a new name.
Ah great, sorry I was sidetracked with helping out on another issue.
Hmmm, chain 58 question 3, nothing yet.
Ah, got it, needed other name :P ... again :haha:
Stuck now on 4th question...
Still stuck, I looked up characters from his famous works but... :(
Doh! I got it. Figure means to me character though. :S
got 51C!!!!!!!!!!
I pmed the high scorer in the game, "biskit" and he helped me out with a clue. It is an acronym think ring
didn't get very far..stuck now on the last question on that chain!
Mistery
05-04-2009, 06:16 PM
Wow, thanks :)
Gonna try to finish my current chain, last question on 58, and then get back to 51.
Can't find the right word on 58.
Got it! :)
mistery when you skip a chain and then go back to it, do you start at the beginning of it or go right to the question you didn't answer?
Mistery
05-04-2009, 06:40 PM
You are beamed back to the first question :(
That's why I only go back when somebody needs help if I'm not in the middle of a chain.
Thanks for your help KAM, figured it out at last :)
Hmm, on d (antarctica one) another trial and error thingy?
EDIT: Indeed, it was. Got it.
Hmmm, what is the question on the next one? The hazard one, read the article but what is it looking for?
what type of hazardous thing is a result of the previous answer
thanks for your earlier tip about the roman numerals...that just saved me some aggravation!
Mistery
05-04-2009, 07:23 PM
Ah, thanks. I had to check what that word from the article meant, did only know the solution word, not its synonym :)
Okay, for the last question, I've only found a band...
Do I have to use the whole word, or does it only refer to a part of it?
didn't get the answer for the last question. it's the first and only one I've skipped....that guy bizkit, the high scorer didn't even get it yet!!
Mistery
05-04-2009, 07:31 PM
Really???
Okay, let's get it  :haha:
yeah--you go and let me know how you do!!!! Just started 59 and am dying at how many possibilities the answer could be!! The clue is Patel of India are you kidding me!!
Mistery
05-04-2009, 07:55 PM
For 59a, you need
a middle name of a person :)
