found another key pad to the left and I have seen a sign on the floor saying N=X to the left as you come back up the stairs. Can't relate that to the numbers outside though and the numbers outside don't work on the keypad either??????

I was just about to come back and put that then Outside too

multiply the two numbers that are outside together to get the 4 digit code. Thats what the X=N means.

I'm a lush and drank all my wine. It won't let me have another bottle, guess I'll have to start over, in the morning. I'll take notes then. It looks like a good game that is not too hard.

OB, there is no math required for the wine cabinet. Only directions.

WSNE. Click the button under the place you want to put the direction

To work out the weight of wine, you need to weigh the glass before and after filling it.

The glass holds 250ml (clue in corridor), it weighs 230g empty and 475g full. Therefore 250ml of wine weighs 245g. 1 litre = 980g. 3.6l = 3528g

The next puzzle requires an exact weight.

The weight is achieved by sticking the screwdriver in the top of the empty bottle. So drink up!

I must confess that i played this game on EG24 before it was posted here. That one puzzle was one I simply took for granted. I figured it was easy enough to deduce by trial and error. So I never challenged the solution.

teenmum, it is a moderate to hard game. I don't know if the good end has been found yet. These games have a "happy coin" for the good end.
