repaired flute, rat, mystery piece, skull, and bone. Seen the note on the table
And Poco has read the sign with the leaves...

I scared the guards away, and I'm on the next screen with the Elder.

I've made
poisoned rat, and roasted it. Got gems and sun orb

Back to first screen now.

And finished! :D

how do you combine items?
Edit - tried to combine my 3 items to get rid of rat in every way but the right one. 30 minutes have passed and no help. So will try again later I guess.

Edit - Nevermind, I got it.

If you're stuck at the rat scene -
click the middle bar (the one with the mark in the middle of it) then try to use the stick on it. Combine the 3 items to make an axe, and use it on that bar

Thanks Unrequit - took me a bit to see the option on my screen. Now working on next part. Have 4 items.
Had to break for dinner and stuff .. now have moved on - in an outdoor scene. Time to tke out pup.
Oh my! Wrong order? need something else? Back in first scene and I'm stiuck with this problem.

stuck back at first scene. it says i need a new power to proceed. i have replaced the 4 gems, and the orb in the thing. only item i have is half of some shard with a mysterious purpose.

If you go back downstairs after scaring the guards away, you'll have to start the whole game over again. Wouldn't let me leave the room after scaring them.
