Part 2 is more challenging. There are less inventory objects and more hidden hints. Keep your eyes open.

Well obviously! but I have gone back over everything several times and still can't find anything. I even restarted the game thinking it may have been in the first couple of scenes that you can't get back to.

Yes, that's right, but you should open your eyes when you are on your way. You don't need restart.

There are hidden hints for 3 of the lamps, so you might have missed one hint (no need to restart as you can move within the needed area - just open your eyes).
Well, and for one of the lights you just have to figure out how to make the switch usable.

Hmmm, maybe you can find something on the bookshelf (the boxes with the same back are books) that allows you to advance to the next room? And the code from the fire place will be needed later).

There is nothing on the bookshelf (checked by the door in the mountains and also by the room with the tabel and 2 boxes). But maybe I have to do something with the books...

Yes, it has much more puzzles.
Now, look for clues in one of the green "huts" and climb up the bridge. Look there for clues aswell.There are clear clues for 3 of the houses/rooms on the bridge, for one you have to figure out how to fix the switch.

It won't turn off unless you redo it and make it wrong. Once you turned on a light, click on the "back" button in the top right to leave the place. If you are told to examine the place more, then do that and look around. As soon as you have turned on the light and left the place, you won't be able to go back. Then go into the other houses (there are 4 in total).

Ok.....now I'm really confused.....I did what you told me but that does not work!!!! I've entered the correct code,clicked the beack button but they never tell me to examine the place more or anything!!!! as soon as turn on the light,I am able to go to the place and find out that the light is switched off!!!! No, it won't switch off. There are 4 houses in total. When you leave the house where you have turned on the light, you will face the house on the opposite side.
The bridge has a shape of a cross, so that you can turn into 4 directions from the middle on the bridge.

The wierdest part is that when I switched on the first light.....I can't turn into 4 directions!!!! I know that there are four houses in total and stuff but the big problem is that I can't move into 4 directions!!!

Okay...there are arrows pointing left,right and back when I click the cross section of the bridge but I don't turn left or right!!! The only button which works is the back button which is sooo useless!!!

They go back into your inventory if you got them wrong,that's right.
Examine the planet some more (click on the left edge of your screen to go back) to find the clue in which order you have to put them.

Okay, I must be a real dunce. I can't find a wrench anywhere. I've been in one house and looked at another that seems to be nobody's that I can't get into. There are other houses, but I can't get near them. All I keep doing is going back and forth between the tree (or whatever it is) where I got the spade and, I'm guessing, a bridge that I can't get onto. HELP!!!!

It seems that you get confused because of the similar looking houses. When you are on the bridge, you can turn into 4 directions as the bridge is like a cross. So you can visit 4 houses and each has a puzzle to solve. And you find some clues at the houses somewhere.

But that's not what's happening. I go into the houses - correction, into one house - and I get the same puzzle/clue I've already got and the other house is Nobody's house. It isn't that they all look the same, it's that I can't get to other houses. I click the arrows and they jump around the screen, but the room in front of me never moves or changes, and when I go down off of the bridge I'm in Nobody's house and the house that has the crosses and circles on the wall. Should I uninstall and reinstall? Is there something wrong with my program or am I missing something?

I really have no idea. There are lot of people who have played it without problems, so it should run properly (but of course as for every game there can be a loading problem).
If you say that the arrows "jump around" then this is a sign for me that it works, as their positions vary a little bit for the houses.
Have you tried it systematically? E.g. clicking the right arrow only once and then click on the house? When you leave the house again you should face the opposite house, so there is no need to click the arrow, just walk forward.
If you checked really systematically and it didn't work: Did you restart the game?

Yes, this was it - similar at least (that's why I said in the first post to write everything down that might be important as you can't go back to the area as soon as the light is lit)

OK, I have at last figured out how those left and right arrows work. I thought there was something not working properly.
I turned on 2 lights, and have problems with that chess board. I click on it and nothing happens. I have seen the code (red, white, black) but can't do anything with this black/white board. Can someone help me please?

Oh... and those 9 blue squares don't do anything either. I don't know what to do with those.

Aaah... I managed to get the light on with those 9 square boxes - at last.

Now, what about that chess board?

ok apparently something was wrong with your game................it is no longer here and it has changed my settings still even after restarting my computer

There is nothing wrong with my game, thousands have played it without any problems.

If you quit correctly, the screen resolution should change back automatically.

Restarting your pc won't help, change the screen resolution manually.

so your game automatically screws up my screen and then after I exit?(didn't know there was a correct way to click Quit) i am supposed to go to my options etc and fix the problem that i did not create?

it changed my resolution to the text being huge and now it is a little bit smaller than normal

It can't be a little bit smaller than normal.
There are usually 3 different screen resolutions
1024×768
800×600
640×480
And these have big differences, not little bit ones. So I assume that there is no difference to earlier.

And now stop with that, the game doesn't screw up anything, it just changes the screen resolution during playing, then it changes back if you quit.
And as I said already, before you start the game, you can uncheck to change the resolution, and then nothing changes - it's up to you.

I downloaded it yesterday and I didn't look at the instructions i didn't do it from here....but from your website..i like the website..looks so cozy..:)and i hit "save" instead of "run"..:?: I doubt it should matter but i figured i had better ask anyway.:)

Sure, you can always save an .exe to your pc first. To install it, you then just need to double-click it :)

hi there...i was playing the game..and i got to the part where u hit the what looks like a t.v screen...and a media player plays..and an error occured..

An error has occured the game may not work properly click ok or quit..

Error executing script the script engine returned the following script error message;
Automation Error
Unspecified Error..

Aslo the screen wouldnt go away after that...the player screen..followedme around..lol.. no matter which arrow i hit..it wouldnt go away...had to quit and I didn't see a save function..ahh......

I was almost done i think..saved her mom and was trying to do the coloured x's...in the same room but couldnt get rid of this player..haha..kinda funny but sad if i have to start over..pretty long game..really enjoyable. though..:)

Any ideas..?

My speakers are toast too...is that important to hear whatthe player is saying...like i have another set i can plug in but didnt do it yet..thought maybe the x's might be coloured sequence of the vase across..not sure couldnt hear it..lol..I did it all on my own too..not once did i have to peek..pretty proud of that..lol

What Windows version are you using (XP, Vista?).
And what version of Windows Media Player are you using?

You know the room where there is a color switching vase..there's a screen in there thats black..you zoom in on it and it says "touch the screen"..so i did..well at that time..for some reason i got that error message..the player eventually loaded after a few seconds and i hit ok on the error message..i had to do that a few times..anyhow..im assuming the player that u watch there shouldve stayed on that wall..on the black screen instead it was at the top of my screen..same size as it is there to the right of it..and i could hit play or whatever no matter where i went in the room..like it was stuck..Oh i just looked at your attachment...yes that room there..that black screen..It's probably just a glitch..there was no error code or anything..and the player worked eventually..ill try and load it again tomorrow..and see what happens..is there a save function..? like did it save from where i left off..automatically?

you know what i just noticed..the file the avi one..for this game..was it called..examine2...not sure if its for this game or not..but i assume it is cause when i play it..sounds like aliens or something...its not understandable..and now that i think of it..i think on the error message..it mentioned that as the file that can't play..

is this possible.it comes with game..i mention it cause its a separte icon on my desktop..which would explain why it didnt play right in the game...anyway before i go on...ill let you respond..lol

The file that is saved to your desktop is a soundfile that you need to work with ;)
