Yeah maybe there is a reason why they are not circled. I read the forums of nameless riddle. Didn't find any hint for 18i. I think I will go through the pages again and see if I find anything.

Anagraming isn't working, I either get nothing back or too many back (plus when its more than one word I don't know what makes sense and what doesn't). I've been experimenting putting it into a dutch english dictionary with different letters and I haven't gotten anything either.

I don't think we are ever going to solve this one.

How on earth did you get an answer from those two words, I've tried quite a few things so far and I'm not having any luck. If your on 33 I say just do it. Then you can come back and try to solve 31 after it.

If the crossword solver is correct than anagramming is involved though. I can't get anything at all using that crossword solver, even putting in just a couple letters.

sorry agsk, computer chucked a wobbly, just got back on. the clue is in the source where is says pages.vcr etc... you need to get the abbreviation for vcr and then use that instead of vcr and go to that website, im still trying to remember the rest, i'll go back and check it if you like

I looked at 18iv for a week trying to translate it from some kind of obscure form of shorthand! it seems really simple now that i know what to do.. (and I'm piecing it together right this second)

Dutch is one of the hardest languages in the world. The dipthongs have dipthongs!

I only knew the egyptian and semaphore. I actually solved it with just those two. I can't help you much beyond that or I would. If you get those two try a online crossword dictionary like one across.

a good dutch anagram solver is needed here...i find only solver that either are limited to 200/300/400 words or that stop after 12 seconds :( both of it is not enough :( do'h....

Don't think so agsk, my pc is pretty good and I also have a quick connection. No idea what is wrong. That's why I would like to know what browser you both are using. It kills my Internet Explorer.

Its kind of where the temporary internet files are stored. Any time you listen to something or see something on the internet a copy of it is in you temporary files. If you don't have it, maybe you could PM me the gyst of what it is.

Argh, damn battleships, although I did manage to skip to 30 by mistake lol. This is absolutely ridiculous. This should be illegal! I've made so many moves with these things and still cannot get the information I need.

The battleship level was hard. I had the battleships positioned according to the rules and the decoded message was still somewhat garbled. I think there is more than one solution.

Sad thing is spliff guessed 32s answer on one of his tries on 31. We finished level 33 and were both at the temp end, but this level is just bugging me. I can't quit until its solved.

I'm sure there is a mathimatical solution of some sort. The message is coded even after the ships have been placed though. Even when you are finished the ship part there is another part left to do. ;) Did spliff give you the clue Linda gave us, it wasn't a big one but it could help.

I cant really give you a better clue until I get home in about seven hours. I have my solution to the puzzle is at my house and I'm at work. The can go vertical, and they cannot touch diagonally either. I'll PM you fliip.

It seems like there is no logical way to proceed, at least not from the beginning. I think a lot of trial and error is the way to start.
