Nameless Riddle

Hello and welcome to the Nameless Riddle!

Nameless Riddle is a riddle inspired by many other riddles like Notpron and The Neverending Riddle.
The creators of this riddle are (at the moment) JJ, Linda and Poltergeist.

How does it work?

It's very easy :)
The riddle starts at Play (http://www.namelessriddle.ulmb.com/start.html) , there you will find the first level. Once you've solved that one, you just replace the word 'start' with your answer. When it is correct, you will be redirected to the next level.

What do I need?

Basically you just need your brains :) You also need standard programs like Paint and Excel. For some levels you will have to use a decoder, they are all accessable on the internet, most of them you can find on Tools (http://www.unfiction.com/resource/otools)

What if I need extra help?

If you need extra help you can use this (http://samo.x0b.net/dande/) forum. There is a special subforum for people who need help with the riddle, available in English and Dutch. We (the creators) will be there to help you as much as we can without spoiling it for the rest of the people. So please, when you need help, don't post any answers to levels and don't say too much!

I am back again :D. Thought of trying level 7 for some more time. But my problem is that when I look up for the lat and long and when I get the result I am not able to see any city or country. All I see is a red x on top left. I am using this website http://www.mapquest.com/maps/latlong.adp
I tried to search for some other website but they are not that good.

i used good ole fashioned pen and paper and drew out the picture with the words i found(if they arent making sense then see if they are even in the main pic) and then marked it out like a word-find and see if it stands out to you then..

Someone recommended Google Earth to me. It's great! You should download that and see if it's any help.

There are a lot of online tools that make this conversion for you. Just google one.

If you can't read it properly, maybe the tool you used was not the best (it goes in the direction you posted so I had to delete it). You should be able to read the sentence and then search for the answer.

Its the words search puzzle that you need to use the ROT-X utility on. The list of words at the bottom is what you need to decode. YOu can find the ROT-X utility in the list of tools that the riddle creator gave us.

You already decoded binary and hex this way in the game, your just decoding decimal this time.

A liar might tell you something is "on" when its really "off" and vice versa.

Anybody get 12 yet, its driving me crazy. I can't tell for sure what the first character is or the second to last one. All of my attempts to decode it have failed.

Anybody get 12 yet, its driving me crazy. I can't tell for sure what the first character is or the second to last one. All of my attempts to decode it have failed.


NO!! I've tried those links for steganography from the tools page but I"m not even sure if those are the way to go or not. ANd I can't tell what those letters say either! i've tried all combinations of what I _think_ it might be with anagramming, decoding, using it as apassword for the steganography, you name it.

4 could be the hulk but I don't know that. My wife is a major comic geek and she wasn't any help. I love obscurity.

Regular as in each letter represents another letter. Its random. The hard way to do it is by trial and error. The easy way is to find a program that does it for you.

I'm on to 13c. YOu can get 13b with google earth, but I only got about 3 locations that were good enough to get me the answer.. 3 out of 5 letters is enough for this one.
