      I got the box open, and another note that makes little sense

      Found another note for "c" clue, but I have no clue. I am giving up.

          Edit: stuck with 4 notes now...

          Are we really supposed to deal with factorials and fractions? I made the math, tried to add a next element to the equation too (I supposed that's what the ... means), but my results aren't exactly the same as on the paper (accurate only to the first two digits after the comma). Insane. I give up.

          More edit: OK I didn't gave up and now I have 6 papers, and this is the point when I give up. See the pic in the spoiler to understand why.

            It appears they are still looking for X .. think they were looking for that back in the 50's when I took algebra
            evidently a language problem so I'm not even going to start.

              Made some mathematical advancement (seems I love to torture myself ):

              The note with letters spells:

              I try to brute force that door, if B is correct I have to try only a hundred variations.
