Can someone explain how the 4 x 4 puzzle works? I never have been able to figure those out. Is it some type of magic square?

Scissors: each row and column has # 1 through 4 - no repeats in a row or column. More info. the # inside heavy lines solve the math - so in this one two numbers are easy to add. 6+ would be 2+2+2 or 1+2+3
Well, did discover something new but still stuck on other problem.
EDIT: see while I was away from computer no one left me a clue *sniff*
EDIT: my remote now works.
found help at other site

Thanks, NJ, sort of like a sudoku? The smaller numbers are obviously clues (48X, 6+), but what are the plain numbers for?

@scissors, that is the clue for that box. If it says "3" put a 3 in that box.
@siam - the grey key is the exit key!

JABberjaw: Maybe it doesn't go there. But heck if I know where it DOES go. I'm kinda stuck. Whereis the clue to the flower puzzle? NVM The clue is from the flowers on the left. D'oh!

EDIT: Oops! JABberwaw: You need screws and screwdriver first. Then the battery can go in

And out on my own! Woot! Woot!

I hate the stupid sudoku puzzle! I am an excellent sudoku player, but this stumps me every time. Even when I am given the answer and fill it in, it still doesn't make sense to me.
