Having trouble locating the pieces that I found. Once placed in the bottom of the screen, they seem to wander off! I know I can place several more pieces, but I can't locate them within the "puzzle pieces." Where are they hiding?

Just put the mouse over the ends when you have "puzzle pieces" open. They will go backwards and forwards to each end.
I cannot find the top two corner pieces. Any ideas?

I found both of them. One was

in the octopus room, you can change the colors of the pupils of its eyes, and swivle around the irises to look around. The big hint is in the painting outside. For a bigger hint,

Green green blue, and where they are in the painting.

The other one is in a brick at the bottom of the rope outside, too the left, where you found the bottle.

got nothing from guitar at first
don't place puzzle pieces untill you have all

grabbing the piggy's coin took a concerted effort. Took me about 8 tries.

Have seen 2 pieces that I can't take, well not yet so I hope I will be able to later on in the game
Kinda stuck at the moment...

Managed to continue but I can't get out of this game
I can't get the puzzle piece outside on the ledge from under the vase
I keep switching scenes without getting the piece
Done trying so I consider myself out

There weren't any pieces under any vases.

If you go to the bottom of the rope, and go left, there should've been an empty bottle there, and a puzzle piece behind on of the bricks.

Never mind. Just replayed and got the one you were talking about. I just

went into the next scene and got the piece from under the vase.

Every time I tried to pick it up it moved me to the left scene and believe me, I have tried so I must not click on the right spot if you can all get it.
I have even tried to use the hammer that was still in inventory
