In order to see if you have done things right just zoom out and you will find your item if you have solved a code correctly

Used key, set clock, hung 7 balls, found hammer ('lucky pixel hunt').

Top of top kitchen cabinets between R and middle doors.

I see gold key but can't reach and I don't understand the Santa under the tree....?
Aha...lucky click got me the hanger, made net and now have gold key.
Opened cabinet and now have 8th ball and card.
Opened combo box in kitchen and have tree star...santa lit up.
Searched and I see next step....finding colour order.
Got key and now out.

Set colours on fireplace santa to tree balls (top-down order).

@Yvonne....tks for hint, I did not see the 4-digit clue.
