colour lock was a bit tricky...

A student who changes the course of history is probably taking an exam.

As long as the answer is right, who cares if the question is wrong?

Tried to use 1st knife on pillow...got stuck floating....still usable, and found correct spot to use.
Tried rod on drawer....now floating...next room I was able to put back into inventory.
Rod floating again....used plant, then rod and now have ring /w combo.

Opened 3-digit combo to get key, used to get ink, used to get colour combo.
Opened 2nd drawer have computer cord.
        Have to leave....
        Okay I'm back....
Received clue to 1st drawer from computer....now have hammer and SD.
Used both items, got message and now out.

Other than floating items, good game!
What was the sliced fish for...?
