Deserted Manor House Escape

You started moving with your friends for a long journey. You travelled a lot and felt tired end of the day. It was sunset. You were searching for a shelter for night stay. Did not find any motel. At last you found an isolated house. You spent the whole night there. When you wake up in the morning you find all your friends go missing and the exit door also locked. You are frightened. It is time to get out of the abandoned house.

I am finding the red flashing tex above AND below, a real pain!!!!

I thought I solved the picture, but too dark to tell...?

In office, R/S of stairs.

Hit /w rolling pin.

Have 4 spiders now.
This is weird; had solved picture, but hadn't looked at clue yet...now have red gem.
Need 1 more brown /w blue disc.
Found 2 more red gems, now have 3.

Office desk (L/S) & floor pillow in living room.

Front door hall, by white statue.

Now have 4th dish, and now symbol clue...
Have ladder, but need SD, and something to open paint tin.
Searching...

Front door...bottom of stairs.

Library...post R/S of step ladder

found jug.

Far left living room...L/S corner.

Stick, magnet & thread.

Place by office barrel; use SD.

Now have oil for lamp.
Quicky made a fire and now have key. Placed 3/5 gems...
Now have 3 symbol clue.

Place lamp & close door.

I think I'm stuck; I have the magnet tool, paint tin and brush...
Had to get help; used magnet tool and now have key...

TV hallway...Hole in wall, R/S of office.

Used paint brush and now have 5th gem.
Solved gems and now have chainsaw...
Out....nice game!
