Had to play in IE...
Fiddle around, found lighter and yellow disc and now boiler seems to be smoking...
I am able to move something, but not sure what to do....
Found I could hang something, now sprinkler system is going and now I see the shape I need.

Light yellow disc & hang on nail.

Now have SD, and into breaker box.
Applied colour code, but it's not doing anything...?
Ah...works fine if you follow instructions.

Wheel hint R to L.

Took a few trys, but opened boiler and now have key.

Wheel /w breaker box clue.

Placed gear but how to turn....? Got it!

Lock breaker.

Did something, but didn't help any....? Searching....

Kept playing /w calendar and it finally fell.

Took me a couple of tries, but finally got door grid.

Calendar gives order of black and yellow spaces.

Out!

Unscrew screws by bomb, using round disc thing.

So why did I put paint on the stick.....?
Nice game, except the stick didn't make sense.
