Since we've been getting questions about this in connection with creating your signatures, I've decided to post an explanation about it.
Signatures are limited to 800 characters. The BBCode markup are tags that you use for the layout of text (e.g. for letter size, letter color, fonts etc.).
For example if you want to use Comic Sans MS font, you use such a code tag:
[font=Comic Sans MS]Text[/font]
Therefore, it is important to know that all the letters (including the letters of the code tag) count in that case, not only "Text".
If you want to add much text in your signature, you need to do it without too many different layouts (such as using many different colors, fonts, or letter sizes).
