You know the secret area you found earlier. not the one thta kills you, but the one by the window, use the key from the vent in it. you'll get a 2

I noticed that too, but it could be a glitch, because it zooms in when you take the note from the shelf.

How to enter numbers in the box:
You can use your arrow keys to change the numbers on the grey box. I still can't get it to work though. >_<

About the numbers
Note which says "1" - Found first, has small "2" in bottom right corner
Note which says "11" - found second, has small "5" in bottom right corner
"2" - Found third, in the secret area
"V" - Found on ceiling, has small "3" in bottom right corner
"8" - found with telescope, has small "1" in bottom right corner

I was thinking that the smaller numbers had to do with the order, but when I enter 8, 1, 5, 2, 11, nothing happens. Phooey. I've tried other combos too, but nothing seems to work. Arrgh. If I knew which direction to enter the numbers, maybe that would help.

You have to open the trap door under your feet and quickly click on the crack to get the 3rd key. If you are not quick you die.

11.Look for the five on the ceiling.
12.Now, look for the vent with the gold thing in it. click on it.
13. it is the key to a secret panel by the window on the lower corner wall. use it.
14.Now that you have all 5 numbers.
15. go to the safe.
16. and use the arrow keys to move the numbers.
17. the combination is 5 1 8 2 11
18. use the green key in the door.

Uh, the hands on my clock always turn to the right... like most of the rest of the world... otherwise time would go backwards... Yikes! So, for you since you do not know which directions the hands turn on a clock... it would be right, left, right, left, right...etc.

When you want to move out from something you usually click the very bottom of the screen, towards the middle.

It works but it needs some experience cause it is a bit unusual to control. At least this was my impression because first I had also difficulties with it but later it was no problem anymore. (And in the meantime I killed myself 3 times...)

Then how do I make things in color? The outlining of the door looks like it's been shot with bullets. I see a vent, some blood, large circles of what seems to be a light source.....can't find anything but the key at my feet and the #1 piece of paper.....

BEAT IT. A bit of conflicting advice along the way, wait til u are sure that's how it works to give advice.. someone said pull after each number but that was wrong. i think i practically had a walkthrough but instead a mismatch of advice from here and i-am-bored.com heh i couldn't tell ya how tho, thanks for any good advice that there was here. i got out but now i just have white, it didn't load any ending movie properly :-(

Second key?
There are 3 keys.
* On the hatch (the hatch's key)
* Under the hatch (telescope key)
* In the safe (the main door)

You must open the hatch with your yellow/golden key. Then on the scene where the man is pulling the hatch, click under the hatch (be fast)

1.Get the first note on the shelf.
2.Get the second note under the door
3.Get the key on the ground. put the key in that panel
4. Now, when you open it, quickly click the opening, and get the key inside.
5. It unlocks the telescope.
6. Go to the pipe, and look under it, you will get a bolt.
7. when you see the knife, throw the bolt at it.
8. Got to the hole in the window, and wait a while.
9. when you see leaves, and wind, get ready, and when a green wire swings from your left, click it. (you have to ahve the knife in your inventory,but don't drag it.)
10.While there, use the telesescope ont he farthest buliding, u will get another number.
11.Look for the five on the ceiling.

12.Now, look for the vent with the gold thing in it. click on it. <----------
13. it is the key to a secret panel by the window on the lower corner wall. use it. <---------------

15. go to the safe.
16. and use the arrow keys to move the numbers.
17. the combination is 5 1 8 2 11
18. use the green key in the door.

Get Notes:

1. Click on shelf to get note with a "1" on it
2. Click on the bottom of the door, then click the piece of paper sticking out to get note with a "11" on it
3. Click up till you are looking at the ceiling and see the note with the "V" on it
4. Look out the small window and after clicking on the teleoscope in your inventory line, click the building out in the distance and see the number 8
5. Using the small yellow key you got from the vent, go to the corner between the TV and the window and find the secret panel. Use the key to open it and reveal the number 2.

Get Bolt, knife,Wire
1. The bolt is located at the bottom of the acid pipe, click the bottom of that to get the bolt.
2. Look at the wall that has the pipe & blood stain on it and look up till you see the knife. Get the knife with the bolt.
3. Look out the small window and wait till you see a gust of wind blow a leaf across the screen. A green wire will blow in front of the window. Click the wire to cut off a piece.
4. to place the wire on the bolt, drag the wire over the bolt in the inventory and let go.

Get Keys
1. Gold key(unlocks trap door you are standing on): Click down till you see your feet, pick up gold key
2. Small yellow key(unlocks secret panel): Get the key from the vent on the wall with the TV and shelf. Once you have the bolt, drag the wire over the bolt in inventory (you might have to do this a couple of times, this might also pick up the bolt, so just click it again) once you do that, click the item in the vent and you will automatically pick it up.
3. Silver key(unlocks telescope): take gold key and put it in the hole of the trap door. While man is lifting it up, quickly click under the trap door and get the silver key.
4. Green key (to escape door): once you have seen all the notes, go to the safe and open up using the combo alternating right, left (right to 5, left to 1, right to 8 etc.) the combo is 5,1,8,2,11

Ways To Die
1.Turn the wheel on the pipe
2. Look through the peep hole on the door
3. Unlock the hatch with the key and don't click underneath.

You don't have to take it. Just view it. The game will know that you found it. Did you see the one w/ a "V" on it yet?
