Looks like a great game but so far not pleased with the interface. Very dark, won't take my IE's 125% setting and the TOPPER is I just closed the game thinking I was closing an "observe object" window. GRRR. Oh well, maybe I am just off to a bad start.

Edit: Off to a better start and more confident of how it works.

the conductor is a dark spot near the top right corner of the up ladder room with the 1 on the wall. Don't remember the other key location

map turned out to be more helpful than I thought, pretty easy game

You have to re-assemble the room to go up the ladder again. Try clicking places top and right
