View Full Version : Guess what this is
This is a submission for a new thread called Guess what this is. A picture is posted and whoever correctly guesses what it is posts the next pic. 24 hours with no correct guess and the thread is open to any new post.
For example this pic..
8828
is the German built Bagger 288, the world's largest machine. It's a bucket wheel excavator used in open pit mining and moves on its own from mine to mine using 16 house-sized treads.
Edit: Well this thread is over 1 year old and still going. Thank you all for participating. I found something funny on the web today when I went back to check on the Bagger 288 hoping a new model might be out. Somebody got the idea to turn it into a Transformer and I love the way it turned out so I will share it here. For a second I thought the machine actually folded up this way...LOL. When I saw the cars in the same positions I knew better.

It's the Parc Olympique, and is used as a stadium for sports? (i.e. soccer, baseball, football)
@Wirodeu--It's not the biodome. :)... Erm, well, now that I research more, the biodome is part of Parc Olympique... but... I'm confused now. :?

OK, I'll hand this one to Crimsonthread, but the story behind this was that after the olympics, they converted it into a Biodome, and it has been one ever since (I'm pretty sure).
(you're both right in my technical mind, though);)

Wirodeu, we can go with your picture next since you posted before me and your answer was correct, too. :)
Yours reminds me of the trees that shoot things on Kirby games. :haha:

Nope, it's not something of an old game like kirby's adventure for NES (I take it that you refer to that game? :P).
It's something for a newer game platform, and I believe somewhere from 2004-2005 ;)

2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp. salt

* Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder.
* Cream the butter and both sugars.
* Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda.
* Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar and nuts.
* Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.

Edit: Not claves. Not an instrument.
