    Hey everyone
For those in the forums that know how to program I thought about somthing
what if we had a programming thread where we could ask for help, work on projects, exchange programs, etc.

It is but I haven't had the time to play around with it much lately. Plus the more popular languages these days are C# , C++ and I think Java. I've not seen a lot on Visual Basic.NET in a long while (though I'd love an entry level type job with it...or anything VB related )

I've actually been programming in Visual Basic as my primary language since 2002. If there's anything you'd like to know about pre-.NET versions, let me know.

I see modern programming languages and environments as pretty wasteful. Stick to C if you want optimum speed, and C++ is probably fine. VB makes programs easier to code in most cases, but at this point I'm beyond using any built-in Visual Basic stuff in most of my programs, so it wouldn't be much of a change for me to switch over to C.
