Happy birthday, funja
LOL. I didn't take that one with my phone. The picture I'm showing you was taken with my phone OF the picture I took with my camera, enlarged and framed. LOL It's actually a photo from my nice camera. Nope. Not yet. I have been so exhausted and busy (plus health issues) that I STILL have boxes to deal with. I feel like I will never get through them. And I'm living with my boyfriend, but we are in a 2 bedroom. I got the master bedroom. So it's very much like a roommate situation. I thought it would be super difficult, but it's not so far.
Haha. I never did live in a dorm, so I never had that experience. I feel like it would be awesome with the right roommates, but otherwise, I can imagine it being pretty cramped and miserable. Good idea. Yes! The one with my friend's dog, Bella got 3rd place! I was pretty excited. Here's the winning image: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...6&l=620b19348b It's not the best picture of it, because I took that pic with my cell phone. He's the uploaded to FB original: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=3&theater (Don't know if that link will work. The dog has her own Facebook Fan page. Bella.)
Good idea! That's what I had to do. Going straight to a four year college was just too expensive for me. I got a scholarship, but nothing big enough to help with the cost of a big school. (I have so many student loans right now. ) We have a great JC here, so that worked out. Exactly. I honestly can't imagine working in fast food. I would, of course, if I had no choice, but ugh. Sounds so miserable! Hopefully you'll get your job at Books a Million shortly after you turn 18.
That sounds awesome. And I love drama. One of my passions. I hope you like it as much. I know you took it before and really seemed to like it. Nah, I wouldn't work at a fast food place unless I was desperate. Maybe a chain restaurant (like Applebees or something), but not fast food. No way. Ugh. I'm sorry.
I knew it! I loved my Senior year, and I hope you do too! That's awesome. And it wouldn't be that much longer without a job if you want to apply at Books a Million (funny, we don't have that store out here, but I am familiar with it, because they have it in Joplin, MO when I go back to visit my mom). Would you be willing to do a different part time job until then? Just a thought. Hope that pain goes away completely soon!!!!!
It is. I love it. I did the headshots for that guy, and they came out really well! I just need to do some minor editing (whitening his eyes - they were red, stray hairs, and some very minor acne removal) and I'm done. He has allowed me to share the photos, so when I have finished editing a couple of them, I will post them on Facebook and you can see them there. I didn't get to photo the family last Sunday, so I am set to do it THIS Sunday. (It was too hot last Sunday, and they didn't want their infant son in the heat/sun that long.) So, hopefully we will be able to do that shoot Sunday. And I really do love it. And thank you for saying I've become good at it. I was just talking to my co-worker about how much I miss summers off like I got when I was in school. I mean, I worked from Sophomore year on, but still, before that, I LOVED the long lazy days of summer. Now it's just work, work, work. Sounds like you are having a lot of fun. I think that's actually a really great way to spend your last summer before Senior year of high school because things will get so busy afterward... I hope the pain is getting better and that you can soon once again focus on Matial Arts and everything else you want to without restrictions. I've never wakeboarded, but I heard it was really fun. And yay for Senior pics!
It said it might in a couple weeks from what I read. Fingers crossed. Er...paws crossed. I love my new place. It has high vaulted ceilings, a new dishwasher, new garbage disposal, a washer and dryer in the unit (no more laundromat), new bathroom exhaust fan, new carpet, and new paint. We have our own hot water heater for the unit, so we aren't fighting for hot water from the neighbors like I did at my old place. It's fairly quiet. We have had a few annoying instances, but overall, much more quiet than my other place. I can actually go home and relax a bit. What a change! I love it. It's a gated community, too. So that makes me feel a bit safer. We have a little deck and are upstairs, too. I got the master bedroom. Woohoo! We're going to use some of my photos to help decorate the walls. Tomorrow I am doing a photo shoot for a local comedian (I don't know him) and will do his headshots. I hope I do a good job. I'm kinda nervous. So what have you been up to?
Ugh. I just read about it. No fun. They said it could clear on its own, but could also be a sign of inflammatory bowel disease. I hope that's not the case, as that sounds pretty miserable. I have two digestive diseases myself. No fun at all. (Thankfully nothing as terrible as Chrone's Disease or something. Ugh.) The articles I read about your issue say they are often caused by a virus and should subside. I hope yours does with no other issues.
