Thank you. Me too. Working through this is miserable. Thanks. I usually can't help, either. I don't have much money. And honestly, we all know that so many of them buy alcohol, so it seems terrible to give money I don't have... But this I was able to do. Just bought him a small coffee. Yeah. I wish they would. I'm curious about many of them, and I miss 'em. As for Mistery, things are going pretty well for her. We heard from her recently-ish. She claimed she wanted to make a return to GH soon, so I hope she does. We all miss her terribly.
Sorry for my slow reply. This cold thingy got really bad and I've been pretty ill. Meh. I left work yesterday at 1:30 pm. Picked up some soup on my way home. While I was walking downtown, a homeless man was asking for change for a coffee. It was foggy and chilly outside, so when I picked up my soup, I also ordered a coffee. On my way back to my car, I gave it to him. He was really happy and I felt good for helping. Win, win! Anyway, you're gonna do great in whatever you put your mind to, and that includes Chemistry, I'm sure. I often wonder happened to some of other members from here who went off to college. Clank, for example. For a long time, he was really hooked on CSI and had decided he wanted to be a CSI guy. I wonder if he actually went that route, or if he changed directions? College is all about decisions and changing your mind over and over again. So who knows? Anyway, I'm rambling. How are you?
Wow!! You HAVE been doing a lot of thinking! That's awesome!! I'm so happy for you. And you know, Community College saves you money, but I sure did miss out on the college experience of dorms and all that. (Though I later found out that my community college DOES have some dorms.) Be sure to apply for any and all scholarships you qualify for. Many of them go unclaimed, so there is a lot of opportunity to find free money for school. That will make it even easier to fulfill your dream of the full college experience at a University. Oh, and for scholarships, this website is awesome. Check it out: http://www.fastweb.com/ And working in an office 40 hours a week can be very tedious. Trust me!!! I long for a new job, too. When my tumor is gone *crosses paws* and my other health thingies resolved, and I don't HAVE to have my health insurance constantly, I will get a new job!! (I've been saying this for years - but at least now I have a diagnosis and am getting treatment, versus just not feeling well.) Hope your stomach is better this morning!
Wow! Sounds like life is kicking it up a notch and you're super busy! That's awesome that you're gonna focus on chemistry. Good for you!! I bet you can do it, and good luck at getting into Governor's School. Let me know when you find out! I'm sick right now. Picked up a cold. Meh. Otherwise, just pretty busy. But good. Thanks! Really great hearing from you.
Happy Friday and weekend, Funja.
Miss ya! I hope things are going well.
That would be awesome. I truly believe that whatever you enjoy AND are good at, is what you should do for a living. You will spend so much time in your life working, you should make sure it's something you enjoy. Trust me, I've wasted too much time already in that regard. You still have time to decide what you want to do and everything. But it's great you're thinking of it. Good for you! Yeah, I was so happy to hear that. And yes, I went to the ER, then had a follow-up appt. with my doc where she set up a test. Now I have had the test, heard the results, and they are having me come in tomorrow to discuss possible treatment options. Not good. Hopefully, not terrible though. I really have terrible genes. Meh.
Yeah, it's super easy to sit back and ride easily through school without getting challenged, if you're good at school. Challenges are great, though. They force you to think logically, problem solve, and just learn! I think this is wonderful that you're taking this course, and that you're going to take the governor's school, too. You're a smart guy, and I think it's awesome! On the health front.....Well, good news and bad news. Good news - my tumor shrank. Bad news - a new health issue popped up and I have to see the doc about my treatment options tomorrow at 9:10 a.m.
