We didn't have an actual wager, nothing like that. We both believe you are a very smart person and we simply thought you would solve it quickly and you did. That is all. I jokingly thought it would take you less than 30 seconds to solve but it seems it took slightly longer than that. Now, I meant no offense and I apologize if you actually took this joke seriously. As Lilli said, we certainly meant no offense. I was on my way out, and Lilli said that she thought you could guess it in less than 30 seconds. I agreed. It was a compliment to your abilities, not an insult, and no one took sides against you. Neither of us were trying to upset or offend you.

It may be clear I don't like to get bet about. I understand it was just a joke between you two, but I don't see the point in telling me about it. I absolutely admit I reacted with too much spice, and I apologize for that, but it doesn't change how I think about those things. But I am already cooled off, and it's in the past. Don't sweat about it.


Edit: I am trying to remember a riddle story I heard when I was a kid, but I am missing a few details that made it good. Can't find the full story with google. I probably will wake up this night and think that is how it went! So this thread is still open for a new riddle posted by anyone who got one.
