I may keep hunting but all the instructions from various notes are guess what - not in English.

found everything you had except the book.
was that any use or written in japanese too?

LOL Mindmasher. Oh yeah its kanji time! I am not giving up yet but getting close. I need a third hex piece and a second key to continue and not finding them.

did anyone find anything apart from that very dead looking plant in a pot in the corner by the desk.
where are these "hex shaped things"?
The coloured symbols on the wall you mean?
the panel next to the mirror is (its on the left of the mirror, not the right) paper with writing on by the way.

hi guysss i'm where you are -- still looking.

eedit: there is a cabinet above where we foind one of the hexagons -- to the right of the mirror -- can't reach it.
and you can click to the left of the bookshelf -- it's a weird view -- and there is a battery or something...i can't reach it either.
