After short cutscene you are facing the couch. Click lamp (not working). Click right side of end table and click again on broken plug. Exit and click lamp again to get light bulb. Click under the left side of the couch to get yellow key. Click on couch pillow and then on right cushion to get pliers. Put the cushion and pillow back.
Turn R to face Bookcase. Click front of bookcase. Get 2 screws behind clay pot, get green key behind green candle and get paper clip from blue book.
Turn R to face Door. Click blue vase 2 times. Click picture for close up and click blue X. Exit close up and click on blue vase again. Find and click on spot behind blue vase (Something stuck in floor). Use pliers on floor to retrieve purple key. Put the blue vase back. Click lamp (needs a light bulb) Use bulb on lamp and click lamp to turn on. Turn off the light switch (clue for later). Turn the lamp off and the light on. Use green key on the cabinet. Get ruler. Click on puzzle box. (Solution: blue star, yellow leaf, green planet and red butterfly). Make a note of the paper symbols (clue for later.) Close cabinet.
Turn R to face desk. View top of desk - note & paper weight. Exit. Use yellow key on top drawer of desk and get paint brush. Use purple key on bottom drawer and get switch plate. Combine inventory 2 screws + switch plate.
Turn R to face couch. Combine inventory pliers + paperclip. Use bent paper clip on end table and get hammer.
Turn R to face bookcase. Click 2 times on chair seat to view top of bookcase. Use ruler to get the other half of the paper clue. Make note of the paper symbols. Exit and click back of chair to move it back.
Turn R 2 times to face desk. Click on top and use the hammer on the paperweight to get the red key. Click the bottom R corner of the picture - click the top L corner and then the bottom L corner to get the gold key. Put the picture back.
Turn L to face door. Use gold key on door and enter unfinished room.
Turn L and click on broom. Use broom on dirt on floor. Get dust pan. Get brass key.
Turn R to face red toolbox. Use brass key on toolbox and get screwdriver. Use paint brush on paint and click on paint brush again. (Ready to paint.)
Turn R to face door. Click on stool to move and get game. Put the stool back. Use broom on dirt.
Turn R to face open door. Combine inventory switchplate & screws + screwdriver. Use combined item on switch. Empty the dustpan in the trash. Turn the light off and get nails. Turn light back on. Use paint brush in the middle of the wall.
Turn L to face door. Use the paint brush on the wall - either side of door.
Turn L to face red toolbox. Use paint brush on wall.
Turn L to face brick wall. Use paint brush on wall - either side near brick. Combine inventory hammer + nails. Use combined item on trim. Use combined item on boards. Click on basket 2 times. Get battery.
Turn L 2 times to face door. Get battery in front of green toolbox. Combine inventory battery + battery. Use 2 batteries on game. Click on discolored spot left of the door. Place game here. Follow me code is r-g-r-y-b-y. Click red button. Click green button. Click the keypad. Keypad code is 7296. Exit and use red key on door. Click door knob.
