I've just received good and bad news from Renegade, and he has given me permission to share them publicly here:

I'm planning to release the game without a sponsor since I can't find anyone interested in sponsoring it fairly. It means there probably won't be a sequel (we had one planned out, with a bunch of improvements, that was going to be started next), since it cost too much to make, and it's clear there's not going to be that much interest in it outside of fans of my current game, but I hope the people who do play it will enjoy it.

As for when I'll release it now, I'd like it to be soon. It may have to wait until we're done with a server transfer for the site before I upload it, or I might risk putting it on the current machine and hoping it doesn't explode.

LYR 10 is waiting on the last few pieces of art so I can finish that up.

I feel very sorry that after so much time, the sponsoring didn't work out
I wish I had the means to support him...

It's sad to hear Renegade didn't find any sponsors. I am actually a little surprised by this to be honest. I mean Renegade has build up a name and has many fans. The sponsors could get a great range of advertisement. I wish it was elsewise.. I hope that the game will be a success and that maybe sponsors find their way after all.

Well, apparently from what I have read in the thread, it said the same without the GH part in the brackets - but it seems Renegade has seen that players wanted to start to sing while waiting, and he might have added that
