So far I have

Clock minute hand (used) a key (used)a lighter (used) a glass, a calendar, a stack of books, a nail, and a safe I haven't opened. I saw the password clue, but it is still too early here in Michigan for me to figure out. I've tried the time on the clock, but that didn't work

No idea what to do now.

Is the math equation

(long x short)+ (1225 - day) or, in other words (4 x 12) + (1225 - 6) =1267

Because the answer isn't working on my safe.

I hung the calendar in the new spot, and am left wondering how day = 6 in the equation?

Because on Christmas day, it's 6 days til New Years Eve (??).

How did anyone get the nail from the wall? I've clicked a zillion times and used each item on it as well, still can't get it.

If you clicked below and to the right of the equation on the puzzle you found Password written mirrored backwards.

And like the others, I have no idea where the 6 came from.

Oh, I never found that backwards hint.

You get the day = 6 by hanging up the calendar in it's new spot and then you light the candle on the mantle and place the books on mantle, then wineglass on books. A beam of light then shines on the calendar on the 6th day!! Neato, huh!

i was out but it wasnt easy for the code with math equation...

stuck as hell. got lighter (used), glass, calender, pile of books and safe.
No clue how to get the safe password, or how to get the nail.
help?
