Pasted hint from post 7 .. and now have been searching boxes for eons for cell phone .. with and without ruler. Maybe need something else? I hear it .. just can't find it.
Read post above mine - clicked all over that one. Nothing.
post 17 did the trick.
cell on screen - can't get rid of it! can't find X .. or spot to get it to go back in inventory. getting grumpier.
I'll try again later - if I get really bored.

You need to send out a few smses before the cell phone returns to your inventory.
