A few dumb questions. Are there any schools in the U.S. that offer degrees in Video game designing? What should I study if I go into this as a career? Does this pay well as a career? Who is hiring, and where are they? Thanks for all your help and advice.

I don't know too much about career planning and up-/downsides of the business, but maybe some of these websites will be helpful to you:
http://www.gignews.com/crosby3.htm

http://www.trade-schools.net/directo...-directory.asp

But maybe there are members with own experience who could give you some first-hand information

I'm not at all in the field you are interested in, but I found this one.

Hi Purp! I've heard good things about this school, too. Located in San Francisco, California. They may have branches elsewhere, too. I'm not sure.
