  • Help with Kaspersky

Alright, I have a HUGE problem with my antivirus, Kaspersky. Last night I turned on my computer and it said the web, file, and mail anti virus are down, my signatures are corrupted, I cannot scan my computer, and I cannot renew my signatures. I think something must've infected my computer and as we speak is *bleep*ing up my computer in new ways. For now I'll go on Youtube to see if danooct1 (A Virii specialist there) would have any idea what the hell is wrong with my computer, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

First try to boot your computer in safe mode, and see if you can do a scan.
And do you have the latest updates of the virus definitions?

Here is also something that I've found:

So if nothing else helps, you might want to make a new installation of Kapersky.

Windows XP has an easy to use System Restore. You can go back to your last save date before the infection.

If you're using Kaspersky's Free Trial than probably it has expired.

Nevermind, I just uninstalled it and installed Avast! instead. No viruses.

Also, I wasn't using their trial.
