I grew up on Fluffernutters !!

Absolutely LOVED them as a kid (not sure I would now).

Here's a terrible commercial for it
        http://www.marshmallowfluff.com/page...fernutter.html

I guess it dates to 1920. No idea it was THAT old !

You are not far from the truth there RBS

@ Bronwyn Yes, I couldn't believe it arrived today I thought it would be Monday, they will be getting all their stars on ebay Just not sure where to keep it (fridge or cupboard) it doesn't say on the label, anyone any suggestions?

@ jack, I totally didn't think of that, I have eaten it there too from the icecream vans. It was mad when I tasted it I realised I had eaten it before but just not out of a jar.

                    Fluffernutter here I come

Thanks Crimson. I have got to find the stuff now. Gonna ask the Kroger manager next time in. My absolute favorite Christmas treat is divinity but in the Houston humidity it never came out very fluffy at our house. I have seen it done perfectly down here so I know it is possible. Maybe this is the secret weapon.

Davinity is kind of a white nougat candy. Yum yum!

RBS--I've seen the Fluff at my local Krogar... pretty sure it was by the regular marshmallows (baking aisle, maybe?).

My wife can make Divinity & a couple of other sinfully sweet stomach stuffers with Marshmallow Cream,as we call it here.

Good thing she don't make 'em too often
