      "Fourth of July" (1776) was when the United States got their Independence from Britain. But this thread can be for any country's independence day!

        "Any country's independence day"? Uhm...well, perhaps National Hoilday or Commemoration Day are better expressions in some cases. Some countries never had to break free of another countrys influence, you see
