Uh.... can't find bomb ._.

All I have managed to do so far is turn the red light on the metal detector green.

Use the metal detector over sofa to find out where bomb is located then cut open with knife

All that googling and I only scored 750

Use the metal detector on the table; grab the knife. Use the detector on the couch; zoom in. Scan the right side of the couch until the indicator light on the detector goes green. Grab the knife and use it on the couch. Click on the exposed bomb.

ok so how do a grab the knife out of the inventory?

ok I figured it out, for those with the same problem this is what I did..

first I found the area where the bomb was with the detector. then i backed all the way out until i got to the original screen and then clicked the knife. when I did that the detector disappeared and i could go back to the bomb area and click the knife

You don't have to back out to grab the knife. It's just a bit difficult because it's very precise.
