hmm yeah you're right, never noticed it.. in holland it is: begravenis, just like in germany: beerdigung. it has the word ' to bury' in it, and that's what you are doing.. so that's normal, but yeah in english, i don't get the word 'funeral'

Thanks! But I am not gone yet! I think we are going away for about 7-12 days. After two weeks of camping I think we had enough. Later, end july, we maybe go a week to Belgium (Ardennen) with some friends.

I wish I had some vacation aswell. I feel exhausted and have so much to do. And just as I end my current job by the end of july, I'll start my new job. Finishing this job and preparing for the new one (preparing lessons) gives me right now extremely much to do, so probably no vacation now :-(

You offer your whole vacation for the preparing of your new job? You must be a great teacher if you are willing to do that. I did once offer my vacation for a traineeship. It was not really fun, but interesting. But never again, if it isn't necessary.
