  • Help identifying something

Have any one of you ever seen this animal? I sure haven't. With my glasses on I did not see it well and thought it was a lady bug who got caught in a spider net so I removed it. A few minutes later it was back on the spider web so I assume it belongs there and is the builder of it. Isn't it a weird looking thing, only about 4 mm wide.

I found it after typing in the right words in googlesearch. Its a Spinybacked Orbweaver (Gasteracantha cancriformis). Gonna leave this thread up in case other mysteries need solving.

I thought it looked like one of the enemies from the Mario Bros video games.

            Awesome creature!
I never have seen one before, but it also doesn't live in Europe.

Makes me think of a little, mini dinosaur. Some sort of dinosaur spider. LOL A bit like the Stegosaurus or something.
