I have escaped the dreadful island.

Seems another code should have worked too:

Don't understand the code - must be a clue. have shovel, goggles and axe. OK - found clue.
My code answer was different. what is the black thing? also found a place for second code on a tree as well as a hook. And I've tried to dive down in all kinds of places.
Long day - this will have to wait to finish

dug near rock for flippers - dove for rope which added to hook gave a black thing from house via roof

Still need color code.
Need to stop again - errands.

Grrr! See no one left a hint for me. Maybe tomorrow I'll give it another try.
