Questions about Riddle Creating
Here you can ask all your question about how to create a riddle. We decided it would be useful because we would like to give everyone a chance to participate to this riddle contest, also to those we never have created a riddle.
To start with: it is advisable to have at least some riddle playing experience yourself because this thread is not meant to explain what a online riddle game is and how they work. If you never played a riddle but still are interested in designing one we advice you to start playing riddles. The Tutorial Riddle, created by 2 of our members, is perfect to start with because it explains the basics. Two good sites with riddle tools are Purple Hell and Rumkin Cipher Tools.
The GamersHood staff has only little experience in creating riddles so we won't a too great help with answering your questions, especially when it are (very) advanced questions, but we will do our best. However we hope that many of our members who do have riddle creation experience will be ready to help answering all the question you have.
One site that is often used by starting riddle creators and advanced riddle creators is Webs. It has many template styles to choose from and has a what-you-see-is-what-you-get site builder what makes it possible to create riddle without to need to learn coding webpages. But there are many of these free website builders. Just look around on the internet and see which one you like the best.
If you decide to use Webs, this "Creating a Riddle" Thread may be of some help to get you started with.
Now, if you have any question about riddle creating, don't hesitate but post.

Dear people, I am not much around because right now games and riddles don't fit in my life. You may PM me for help with riddles I once played, but there is only a very slim chance I will answer because remembering how to solve levels takes quite a lot of time and I don't have that time right now. Thank you for understanding.
