I saw the new James Bond movie when it came out and I think it's a great movie. It truly reflects the essence of the original James Bond (referring to the Sean Connery era). The character is darker and less perfect looking and suave, but sexier and charming I find. I think it gives him more credibility. The opening chase was just unreal. That movie went back to its roots by using less, if none, extravagant special effects, but using instead intense action scenes. The only thing I was bit disappointed is the main title song. We were used to really nice female vocalist over the past years and I think this fits better for a James Bond movie. (over the last 30 years, there were 10 female singer and only 2 male/Band singer). None the less, the song is well writen and has truly kept the essence of a James Bond movie.

I really liked that movie. I saw it in a brand new theater and the guy infront of me smelled great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have only ever seen one other James Bond movie..that i remember..and it was really good. Bond found himself in quite a few sticky situations in this one:s but managed to survive miraculously!

It's out on video, watched it, & loved it. It was a bit different for a Bond movie. I kinda liked that!

i went through ALL the james bond movies before watching it they're fantastic. although i was kinda disappointed with the lack of naked chick silhouettes in the beginning though

I really enjoyed this one, though I didn't see the end, because we were coming home from our ski-trip and I was tired. I thought I'd just listen to it with my eyes closed but I fell asleep But, yes, I really like it. I'm not a big James Bond fan, but this one was nice A bit unreasonable as always (the part where he tried to bring himself back to normal after he got poisoned) but I liked that there wasn't very much 'violence' in it, like chasing another car while firing guns etc. But I actually think I missed that part because I fell asleep

Eh, it was pretty decent. I didn't like the new Bond though. To me he seemed too....old at some parts to be the 'first' Bond. And I didn't like how his hair wasn't brown. And he seemed to good to just becoming a 00 agent. I mean, he seemed really good.
But it was a decent movie.

no no no... worst james bond ever. i really disliked it. glad i rented it on DVD instead of paying for a theatre seat.

At first I thought...hmm, a blonde guy playing Bond, because I really liked Pierce Brosnan - but those two scenes when he emerges from the water in a pair of black shorts and a pair of blue shorts really changed my mind! lol
