Chapter 4 - Sorry 'bout the wait

The loonies were looking at eachother in shock. "Wha-wha -" Escape tried to say "TOM is an option?! He isn't even a loony!" The loonies made agreeing noises - except GamersHooder who was standing in a corner looking embarrassed. "Uhm..." he said "Well, I kinda... Invited him here..." He blushed by everyone looking at him. "WHAT?!" the loonies cried out in one voice. "Yeh, well... Ya see, he's a friend of the family and..." The loonies still looked in shock, but GamersHooder was starting to get his courage back, so he said: "But you have to admit: If Tom's not loony, then who is?" The loonies unwillingly agreed. "It's settled, then!" Said Mistery "The people who're going; get ready and meet me outside in an hour, ok?" "A regular hour or a loony hour?" Iva asked. Mistery frowned "A loony hour ofcourse!" Mistery went out to check on her spaceship and the three other loonies went to pack. (Tom didn't need anything - he's a book after all)

A ROFLing hour later the four loonies were outside, just waiting for Tom. Crazy sighed "How's he gonna move anyway? Are we gonna have to...*gulp* carry him?!" "I sure hope not! I certainly won't do it..." Said Iva. Suzy jumped up. "Arrrh, I be do it, aye? Pirates be brave, arrrh!" "Good, Suzy! Then that problem's solved!" said Mistery "What about you granny? Would you have carried him?" said Crazy, but suddenly froze. The alien was shuddering and blushing "Uh...ye-yes, of-of-ofcccourse..." Iva, Suzy and Crazy laughed. Now Gamershooder came out of the hotel, carrying a ragged old book they recogniced as Tom. They swallowed simultaneously, before Crazy shouted with a slight insecurity in her voice: "Hey, Tom are you coming or not?" "No, I don't think I would like that." Tom said, in a very dry voice. "Uh, that's his way of saying yes," said GH as he handed Tom over to the very brave indeed Suzy and went back in. Mistery moaned and rolled her eyes. "Boy, isn't this gonna be a fun trip..."

Chapter 5

The four (or five, depending on how you see it) loonies were now in place strapped to the seat by the seat belts; all except Tom who was locked into the glove compartement, since none of the loonies were sure how to strap a book to a seat... Iva was sitting close by trying to have a conversation with him. "...I guess, so, but what about your family?" she said. "Enough about me, let's talk about my dress." "Oh, yes please!" Iva responded "What's it like? Is it a halterneck? Strapless? Oh, which colour is it?!" Tom answered in a tone that only a book can. "Your politeness delights me. What is a halterneck? What colour is what?" Iva sighed. "Your dress, ofcourse!" "I don't have a dress." "Bu-but you just said that you wanted to talk about it!" Tom was silent for a while before replying: "What is "it"?" causing Iva to tun red and answer: "Oh, can't you give a real answer for once?!" Causing Tom to crash.
"Honestly," Iva said and turned to Suzy. "That book drives me nuts!" "Aye," Suzy replied "I be pretty darn sick o' him too"

Mistery and Crazy were in the controll room starting up the spaceship, which was no easy task. "Pull that lever when I say 'now', Crazy" said Mistery "This one?" Crazy said and grabbed a yellow one. "NO!" Mistery almost shouted. Crazy, however mistook it for the 'now' and pulled the lever, causing the spaceship to shoot up into space faster than you could say 'tomato'. "Craaaaazyyyy, whaaat haaavee yoooouu doooone?!" Mistery said. Crazy replied with what was meant to be a small "Sooooooorrrrrryyyyyyy!"

Meanwhile at the hotel Dia and Jones were playing cards. Jones, however wasn't doing very well. Dia had won evverry time, and Jones was now gambling his last bottle of carrot rum. Jones was not one to enjoy loosing to this extent, so he threw his cards to the table and said: "Hah! If I didn't know better I'd say that you were a cheetah!" Dia waved her tail and answered in a miaowy voice: "You should purrfectly well know a leopard by her spots by now. And why do you have so much of this stuff anyway? Does a soda pop even drink?" Jones raised one finger and opened his cap like he was gonna say something, but looked away shortly causing Dia to laugh. "Come on, Jony, if it means that much to you I'll let you win the next round." Jones looked up again with a new fire in his eyes. "Hah, I'm gonna win without your help, just you see!" He smiled. "Your carrots are mine, Leoppy." Dia was about to answer when Humphryboop came running in. She was panting wildly. "You guys 'puh' we have a problem!"

Chapter 6

Dia and Jones looked confused at the panting pudding covered bunny. "What's the problem, then?" Dia finally said as Humphry was starting to catch her breath again. "It-it's Lilliputt! She found her way to the emergency carrot rum cellar, and now she's eh... a little tipsy!" Humphry said and looked at them in a worried manner. Dia and Jones looked at eachother. This was indeed a big problem! When Lilli was eh... a little tipsy, she became rather scary... She would stagger all over the hotel, not being safe for herself or others. And the worst part of all: She was VERY likely to sing!

Meanwhile the loonies in the spaceship were shooting though the sky at a trimendous speed. They'd been going like this for ten minutes already, and even Tom was starting to feel pretty sick. He kept saying "What is this feeling? I'll have to ask my Icegreen technologies about this!" and "If you don't stop it, big scary serpant will punish you!" which made Iva and Suzy roll their eyes and try to ROFL, but that's pretty hard when you're nearly weightless...
Mistery, however, was doing her best to stop the spaceship, and Crazy was just clinging on to her seat for dear life. 'In some situations it pays off to be of small size, but this is NOT one of those situations' was her thoughts as she was hanging from the back of the seat like a flag in the wind. Mistery was strugling. She'd never figured out what that lever was for, and therefore had no idea how to stop the movement. She'd tried all the stop buttons she could find, but none of them worked...
Suddenly the spaceship made a little jump which made Crazy fly into the control panel with a big "whoooaaa". To everyone's surprise, the ship started slowing down and after about 20 seconds it came to a complete hault. "Woah, what a ride!" said Iva and giggled, as she climber back into her seat. Mistery looked at her granddaughter in amazement and said. "How on GHP did you do that?" However, Crazy Simply blew the dust of her fur, looked up grinning and said: " Got no idea!" "Where are we, anyway?" she said after looking out of the window. Mistery looked outside too, and smiled. "We're here! Were at Anomenia!" "Arrh," said Suzy. "Bring on tha treasure hunt!"

Chapter 7

The loonies stared out through the windows in amazement as Mistery landed the ship. The Anomenia-star was so beautiful! All purple and shining. "Seems we'll find the dust pretty easily here, aaiight!" said Crazy with a smile. "Yes" Mistery said and sighed "As long as we don't bump into any truoble..." "...and we usually do..." Iva finished. The loonies were staring at the floor, when suddenly Tom broke the mood by crashing for no reason at all, with a tiny 'oops'. "The rest of them broke out in laugh, and started ROFLing. Suzy was the first to stand up. She wiped a tear from her eye and said: "So, we should get goin' aye?" "Yup!" said Crazy "Better not leave Twinkle waitin'!" Mistery nodded, and went to open the door and lower the ladder - the beaming device was out of order.

Meanwhile the hotel loonies were gathering not far from Lilli, trying to come up with a plan to calm her down. She was walking down the hall - no, swaying was more like it - while humming on "Sway with me" and with a sillylilly grin on her face. She was just humming as of yet, but the loonies had still had to stick some carrots in their ears. Escape was taking charge in Mistery's absense, but there wasn't much she could do... They usually just kept Lilli from drinking too much - not letting it this far, but this time... Someguy - who was supposed to have looked after the cellar today - looked at her with an apologizing grin and quickly turned away. Escape sighed and turned away in thoughts. GH1 was trying to discuss something with OneBun, but all he got in reply was a loud "WHAT?!" he sighed and said, half to himself: "...and why do you say she's 'eh... a little tipsy' all the time anyway? She's obviously dru-!" Ten or twenty loony hand tried to cover GH1's mouth, but it was too late... "-nk?" Lilli froze, and slowly turned around. "I'm WHAT, ya say?!"

Chapter 8

All the loonies gasped simultaneously and looked at him with big eyes. "What have you done?" Escape wispered "She doesn't like to be called that!" GH tried to answer, but seeing the loonies still covered his mouth all that came out was a small 'umpfh' full of drool, making all the loonies to retract their hands and say 'ewww'. "Sorry," said GH and wiped his mouth. "But what's so bad about being called..." The loonies prepared themselves of covering his mouth once again "...more than 'eh...a little tipsy' anyway?" OneBun shook her head. "It'z da carrot rum dat goez to her head, ya see... An' she'z not 82 anymore, however hard she convinces herself of dat!" "Yup," said Doglover and rolled her eyes. "She just won't admit that she can get eh...a little tipsy from only a few barrels of carrot rum...pfft!" "I see," said GH. "But why are you all so afraid of her? What can an old lady with pink hair d-?" He got cut off by the tomato that hit his face. "First ya says Iz dronk! An' now Iz *hickup* OL'?!" All the loonies hid behind GH who just stood there frowning with tomato all over his face. He wiped his eyes and mouth and said: "This just got -" She hit him with another tomato. "-pffst, interesting!"

The space loonies climbed down the ladder, except Tom who was carried bu Suzy, and Crazy who had decided to take after her uncle Hyper and sleep on Iva's head. Well down on the Anomenia, Mistery took out a map and started studying it, while Suzy was trying to chat with Tom. " - well I think pirates are overrated!" Said Tom. "You WHAT?" Suzy shouted. "Who do you think you are?!" Tom simply answered: "I am Tom Riddle, also known as Lord Vol...eh scratch that last part." causing Suzy to slam him shut, cross her arms and pout for a while. "Alright!" said Mistery, turning Iva's and Suzy's attention to her (Crazy was still sleeping - and snoring!) "The star dust we need should be right over that hill!" She pointed to a small, blueish purple hill around 900 ft away. "Allriight!" Said Iva "Let's go for it!" "However..." said Mistery "We'll have to cross a star river on the way, and us GHPlings can't swim in star rivers - they're antiROFLers..." "Bah," said Suzy, "We'll solve that prob when we get there, aye?!" "Aye!" Said Iva and Mistery." "Yes, I'd like some pie," Crazy mumbled in her sleep.

Chapter 9

The space loonies were walking - or being carried - along a path to the star dust sea that was gonna save Shining from her darkness. It was a hard path to walk, even if it wasn't very long, full of rocks and branches, (At least something similar to branches) and the loonies were getting tired. "Ok," said "Mistery " Let's have a little rest here. This was tougher than I thought it'd be!" "Great!" Iva and Suzy sighed simultaneously. They after all were carrying a loony each. Crazy was still sleeping on Iva's head and Tom was sulking inside his diary because Suzy'd slammed him shut and refused to even try and see if he could walk. They rested for a while drinking some ROFLsoda and eating a carrot each, before they got up and started walking again. After walking for about 5 minutes they came to the star river. It was amazing! Shining a deep purple, with occasional black and dark blue spots and sparkling like nothing they'd ever seen before. It even awoke Crazy, who immediately started staring and rubbing her eyes, not fully believing she was awake.

After staring mesmerized for another five minutes Iva shook her head to regain attention, which caused Crazy to fall off of her head and down towards the river. "Heeeeeelp!" the little squirrel sqeeled as she barel managed to hold on to a rock sticking out of the cliff. "Crazy!" the three others shouted and ran towards her. But Crazy's grip loosened and she fell out of sight, with the remaining loonies staring in disbelief.

"Hahaha, gotcha -ooof!" *splat* *sploosh* *splat* The loonies were looking in awe at the most advanced and exiting tomato fight they'd ever seen. "Tacke thaz!" Lillz shouted as she swayed out of reach of GH's tomato and threw one right in his shoulder. Gh shrugged it off, frowned and threw one back, hitting her in the walker. "Slurp!" He said as he ran for cover - he was out of tomatoes! But "Psst!" He heard a noise "psssssst!" It was Elni! And she was carrying... He looked at her in awe as she handed him a basket of reaally ripe tomatoes. He smootched her out of sheer happiness and surprise and returned to his fight with Lilliputt. "Ey, thaz cheat'n!" She said with an unclear voice, but he used her one moment of unawareness to throw a tomato, hitting her right in her big toothless mouth. "Ooof!" she said as she fell back on her bum looking surprised. All the loonies ran to her in fear she might be injured.

But what about Shining? Yes, we haven't heard about her in a while.
She was sitting alone in her hotel room with a crossword puzzle, sighing every time she couldn't get a word right. But suddenly she heard something coming from the bar downstairs. She jumped off her bed, opened her door and went towards the staircase. She was suddenly filled with exitement, and didn't notice that as she passed the mirror, she was looking just a tad brighter.

Chapter 10

Shining was walking down the staircase, noticing a weird shadow sitting in the couch. It seemed familiar somehow, but she couldn't quite figure out where she knew that silhuette from. Whatever it was was just sitting there playing ukulele (which must be the looniest instrument in the world). Suddenly she realized who it was and ran towards him, as shiny as ever.

To everyone's relief Lilliputt was doing fine. In fact, the tomato that hit her mouth cleared the effect from the carrot rum, and she was now sitting up staring bewildered at the loonies surrounding her. "Yez, hun, why should I notz be ok?" The loonies breathed out, and started laughing at echother's worried faces. Lilliputt got up and said "Well, I dunnoz what da slurp happenz here, but shoulda we not prepar' a welcum' home partey soon?" The other loonies had totally forgot about the adventuring loonies, and started slapping their foreheads and running down to the bar and kitchen.Quickly! Everything had to be done quickly - who knew when they'd be home? Becky was baking the cake, Adventure was gathering whatever was left of the carrot rum after Lilli's raid, and the rest of the loonies were decorating the empty bar.

The loonies on Anomenia were still standing at the edge of the cliff, staring at where Crazy was last seen. They couldn't believe what had just happened. Iva was the one to first break down in tears, blaming herself, Suzy was cursing, saying she wished she'd dropped Tom instead, and Mistery was still staring at the river with an empty expression. Finally she turned around, looking like she was close to sheading a tear, but still in control. "Guys," she said, "With an attempted steady voice. "We can't give up! We have to search for her!" The two others nodded. Suddenly Tom started speaking: "It would be wise to search down river - she's probably flowing with the current." The loonies looked at him like he had suddenly turned green, but what he'd said made sense, so they decided to go for it. "You're welcome," Tom said without waiting for a 'thank you'.

They found her washed up on a silver beach sleeping. She seemed alright, breathing and all, but when they woke her up, they noticed something was different about her; she was too serious! Mistery concluded that the river had taken away her ROFL, and now she needed the GH virus re-injected and a cup of GH rum, FAST! "The star dust will have to wait!" she said as she lifted up the serious squirrel and started running back towards the space ship.

Chapter 11

The loonies hurried back to the ship. It was a bumpy ride, but Crazy didn't lol once, which was really disturbing. Mistery was getting more and more worried as she was running. This had never happened before, and although it was possible that the GH virus would cure Crazy, it was far from sure. She put Crazy down in the second pilot seat before seating herself. Crazy fastened her seatbelts with a plain face and said: "Are we ready to go now? I have homework to do." "Ye-yes..." Mistery said in a worried voice. This was worse than she'd thought! "We're leaving any minute." "Good," Crazy answered looking straight forward. "I only got an A on my last paper, so I have to study." The loonies looked at her with a terrified look, but clumsily buckled up as Mistery started the space ship.

The ride through space seemed like an eternity, but finally they closed up on GH. Mistery landed outside the Hotel, and Crazy was the first to slowly climb the ladder to the applause of the waiting loonies. They were expecting a happy bunch of loonies home from an accomplished mission and ready to party, but their joy faded as Crazy just walked past them saying: "It's almost 7 pm. I think I will read my science books for thirty minutes before going to sleep!" They looked at her in shock, before turning to Mistery in disbelief. The alien granny walked straight to OneBunand said: "We had an incident - we need GH virus now!" OneBun mumbled a small 'I'm on it' and jumped towards her bacement.
She came back to the bar shortly with a shot in her hand. "Crazy?" Escape called. "Can you come over here for a sec? We need your views on a report!" Crazy walked over with an indifferent expression on her face. "What repo-" OneBun suddely stapped the shot into her arm, and Crazy fell into the pink bunney's arms. Her eyes suddenly flashed open. "Hey guys!" she said with her regular squeek. "What's up? Is it party time already?" The loonies cheered - the old Crazy was back!
"So," Darknight interupted the cheering "Did you guys find the star dust?" Mistery sighed and looked at him. "No, we got so caught up in saving Crazy, that we rushed back never minding the star dust... Where is Shining anyway?" All the loonies looked at her. She was right - noone had seen Shining for hours and hours, where could she be? Suddenly Doglover shushed them all and raised an ear. "Listen!" she hissed, and now they could all hear it! The sound of a ukulele coming from upstairs. And if they listened closely, they could hear someone singing aswell!

They all rushed up to the stairs to the 7th floor, and stopped outside a room door. They could all clearly hear ukulele and song now. It was soothing and relaxing to stand there and listen, but curiousity took over and they opened the door, only to find... "Sire Theme!" Lilli, Escape, Doglover and Holland shouted and ran towards him. "Careful, girls" he said with his metallic voice "Don't smash the ukulele!" Shining moved away just in time before three crazy female loonies jumped the ol' robot sitting on his hotel bed. "Where have you been? What are you doing here? Why didn't you say anything?!" "Easy, easy!" He tried to calm them down. "I'm just here for a few days - things are busy in the real world right now... But I'll stick around for the party, if there is one?" He said and smiled. Mistery was about to apologize to Shining for not being able to cure her, when she realized something. "Shining! You're shining, Shioning!" "Yes," Shining said and blushed. "I guess all I needed was a little music!" She said and smiled. All the loonies cheered and went down for cake and carrot rum

The Mysterious Ride

Chapter 1

It was a regular loony day at the GH hotel. Some loonies were out ROFLing in the sunshine, while others were sitting inside reading the latest issues of "Insane Today" and "Loony Bin Times". Princess Peach, however, seemed restless and kept staring towards the door while drumming her fingers. This was really getting on Brimful Asha's nerves, who was trying to concentrate on her "What's UPSTAIRS on GHP?" magazine. "Could you please stop that?" she said and dropped the magazine to her knees. "It's gonna make me go crazy..." McAkkay, who was lying upside down in a nearbly chair, bouncing a balloon up and down suddenly turned her head and said: "You're not going crazy; you ARE Crazy" and frowned. "No," said Asha with a TN "Crazy's Crazy - I'm Brimful!" which caused the three girls to lol. Peach sighed. "I'm bored," she said and looked away. "Isn't there anything we can do?" "Hmm..." said Kay. "We could go to the themepark..." "Yeh, like he isn't busy!" Asha said rolling her eyes and went back to her magazine. "Not the Sir Theme, silly..." Peach said with a laughing voice. "The GH themepark, and yeh, I'd really like that!" "Okay," said Kay and got up, sitting on the back of the chair, before she hopped down. "Let's round up some looneys and get going!" Asha sighed and sloooowly rose from her comfy lieing position on the sofa. "I guess this "How loony are you-test" can wait for later!"

Brimful, Mcakkay, PrincessPeach and Crazy began gathering the loonies who were in the GH Bar. EscapeGirl and Darknight were still dancing and smooching, HeartoftheDark was lurking in the corner drinking a Bloody Mary, and Funja and Rannei were practicing their ninja moves by the sofa. "HEY! You guys!! We're so bored we're going SANE!! We're off to the theme park! Wanna come!?!" hollered Crazy. Everyone looked up - even Darknight and EscapeGirl who had been dancing for years.

It was decided that they would make a quick check to see if anyone else wanted to come, and then the group would be on their way. Mcakkay checked to see if any of the loonies who were ROFLing in the room with the simulated sunshine wanted to come while Rannei knocked on hotel doors. Both returned to the bar having not located anyone else willing to go out in the storm. Mcakkay informed the group, "All everyone we asked kept saying is, 'Are you guys nuts?!' Of course we answered, 'No. Just looney.' But it seems we couldn't convince anyone else." A moment later, Suzy and Invincible came running down the stairs.

"We wanna come too! Wait up!" Suzy was ready to go wearing her captain's hat and a smile. Invincible was wearing an oversized raincoat, galoshes, and a yellow rain hat and seemed out of breath from running down so many stairs. They joined the others in the Bar.

The storm outside was raging and threatening to strike down anyone who tried to leave the hotel. "Um...is it even safe to head out in the storm?" PrincessPeach asked worriedly as she peered out the window and into the gloom.

"Of course it is! A little rain and wind never hurt anyone," said Funja holding his head up high as if to demonstrate his bravery. At that moment, Escape strolled back in to the Bar with Lilliputt at her side who was mumbling something about locating her missing marbles before leaving.

Escape straighted Lilliputt's wig and answered, "No worries dear mother. We'll get you some gum balls to use instead when we get to the theme park." She very quietly added, "Maybe then when people tell ya things, they'll stick in your memory." The group was now ready to head out to the theme park. As Darknight opened the hotel door an icy wind blew in, along with a fiercely pouring rain that quickly puddled in the foyer. "Geez...that's cold." whispered Escape to herself as a cold chill crept down her spine like a snake seeking its prey. As lightning lit up the sky momentarily, the group hurriedly ran to the Batmobile and piled in, excited to finally be out of the hotel.

The loonies arrived at the the theme park and were surprised to find it deserted. "Hey! That means the rides are free, and no lines!" shouted Crazy as the group went running into the theme park. Escape stopped at the gum ball machine with Lilliputt as the others ran into the park. They had left the storm back at the hotel, but the sky remained gray. Another eerily cold chill overcame Escape as she looked up to the sky that seemed to ominously darken right in front of her eyes.

"Come on mom. Let's get into the park. Got your walker?"

"Geez! Dear kitten daughter...just how old -I mean 'unyoung' - do you think I am!?" answered Lilliputt, highly offended. The two entered into the park, and found the others arguing over which ride they'd go on together first...
