Nearly departed (web version)

Ok, I've escaped the cemetery

got the sheet, got the shovel, used shovel on sheet and tombstone, read the tombstone, went down and got the flowers from the stone basin (on crypt), got the penny from the stone basil, looked at statue, took flashlight from statue, used the shovel on the cemetery lock, broke out of the cemetery, almost, used the mud in the water in the stone basin, then used on hinges on cememtery gates, opened gates and left the cemetery. Crossed street to bus stop, looked at flyers, took the missing person flyer, left the bum to his own devices, went down the subway station, used the missing person poster on the phone book, found out where "I" lived, used penny in the machine, broke the machine, disturbed the subway guy's break, asked about tokens and cards, realized I have no money, went back up, used the shovel on the manhole cover, broke the shovel, picked up shovel shards, used them on the crypt to open it. Used flashlight on crypt, got skeleton arm, left cemetery again, went back downstairs to subway, ate arm in front of subway guy, used shovel handle on ABC gum, got fast food bag, opened fast food bag, got bottle of tobasco, went back upstairs, used tobasco on bum, bit bum, gave bum half of skeleton arm, took bottle, took transit card, went into subway and went uptown.

Got uptown and

entered apartment building, looked at buzzers, found "my" apartment, looked at, then used keys on mailboxes, opened mine (3rd down, 4th across (how they got 2D out of that I don't know...:hmmm: ) took the postcard, used keys on door and entered, went upstairs to my apartment, found out I'm a slob,:rolleyes-smilie: opened upper cabinet, took bowl, closed cabinet, took milk from fridge, looked at calendar on front of fridge, took photo on front of fridge, took zombie DVD, scissors and paste from shelves, went into bathroom, looked in toilet and found it plugged, found reciept from Taco Malley's , found bottle of antacid, took both, looked at both, left bathroom, went left to pizza joint, the lights are on, but no one's home, went to photo place, and (semi) dark alley behind it, found bratty girl playing video games, asked for screwdriver, got nowhere, tried to enter back of photography store, brat wouldn't let me, try to scare brat and be told she's only afraid of ghosts and rats. Left and went downtown.

Now I'm

downtown, and entered Taco Malley's, and talked to kid behind the counter. I asked him about the missing person flyer, tried to use the bathroom, was told it was for customers only, showed him the reciept, and went in. Found plunger, moved garbage can, left restroom, got called back by clerk for stealing plunger, left plunger in bathroom, left Taco Malley's, went next door to office building, taked to guard, showed him missing person flyer, got nowhere fast, left office building, went and left for residential neighborhood.

In

there's another apartment building, further down there's a cat in an open window, and a laundromat across the street. Try to pick up cat and he won't come. Go across the street to old lady who smells like cats and talk to her. Leave laundromat and cross street to where cat is. Use milk on bowl and put bowl with milk on sidewalk. Call to the cat, cat comes, pick up cat, bite cat, take cat to laundromat, show cat to lady, lady will take cat to vet, and you get a free washing machine. Use sheet in washing machine, and then use scissors on sheet for eye holes. Go inside apartment building, and either try to unplug tv or enter employee only area, only to have bouncer come after you. Ask about going upstairs to meet someone, only to be told NO! She missing person flyer to bouncer, show postcard to bouncer and show photo to bouncer who will tell you it's May Ling in 2A. You can't get any further with this guy, so don't bother.

Take the subway

back to uptown and back into alley. Use sheet with eye holes on little brat and take screwdriver. Walk into back of photo shop, and take nothing. Leave photo shop, and take subway back downtown and go into Taco Malley's. Enter bathroom and wash screwdriver off in sink, then use on grate. Leave TM's and use screwdriver on grate outside. Go back inside, go into bathroom, take plunger, leave through grate, and go back uptown where you enter your apartment and use the plunger on the toilet and get your wallet. Take your wallet and open it. Find employee ID and rest of torn dollar. Go back downtown and enter office building. Guard won't let you up, even with employee ID, you're going to have to figure something else out. Take scissors to zombie DVD and then use glue on picture, then use picture on ID. That will get you past the guard and upstairs. Go to your cubicle, and look at the photo. Turn on the computer, and use the password from the other photo (from your kitchen fridge) to get you on line. Check your e-mails and find one from May about the brewery tour. Also, take red marker from neighbor's desk. Check your printer and your boss' printer, only to find out you can't get past the janitor.

That is all I have, so far. I haven't been able to

get past the bouncer, call May Ling, get past the janitor, use the red marker, fix the dollar bill, use the flowers, antacid, beer bottle, empty paper bag, or go to the other parts of the city the lightouse on the island and the part to the left of "Residential"

Ok. I hope so, and you'll post hints in here. I'm stuck.

Ok, I got

past the bouncer (use flowers on paint uptown, and because of his allergies, he'll let you go up). Knock on 2D (May's place) and she's not answering. Knock on the neighbour's door and he'll give you an envelope with some photos. Go back to the photo place and pick up photo developing kit (blue box). Go to your apartment, use the red marker on the light, develop the photos with the kit and read the note.

To get past the janitor, you

take the paper cutter, use it on the vacuum cord, give the plunger to the janitor, tell him the toilets are backed up, go into the boss' office. Look at portrait, look at file cabinet, look at nose on desk, take nose on desk, pick nose, get key, use key on file cabinet, open bottom file drawer, hear a click, move portrait, see a safe. You can't open the safe because you "don't know the combination (you do, it's the dates of the grave you were buried under), but he says, "this part of game hasn't been implemented yet."

That's as far as I've gotten. I'm hoping it will be done, soon. John Green Art, if you are reading this, great game.
