    Hi All,

We’re making video games in my research group and we wanted to invite everyone to play and compete for fame. The games are simple to play but are hopefully fun and a bit challenging. Today, we’re releasing a new game:

Infection: an action zombie-survival game where you must rescue survivors from hordes of zombies - but only if they can prove they’re uninfected!

We’re trying to build some excitement around the games to motivate people to play, so we’ve started a competition until January 3rd where the best players in each game will be acknowledged (and thanked) by name for their significant contributions in a top-tier scientific publication.

Even if you’re not interested in eternal scientific glory, we’d still love if you played just a game or two and let us know what you think. You can contribute directly to science just by playing a video game!

The games work best on Chrome, but should be playable on all browsers.

We’re working hard on improving the games too, so expect to see new features and updates as well in the coming weeks. If you have any comments or questions, we have forums setup for each game too and would love to hear from you too.

    Enjoy!

A student who changes the course of history is probably taking an exam.

As long as the answer is right, who cares if the question is wrong?
