Creepy Bog Escape

What happened? Your car broke down on a back road, far from town. You started walking and realized you were surrounded by a creepy bog! Can you figure out how to escape?

Played twice...there;s a bug.
First time I didn't have to find key to unlock boat.
Replayed...used key. Same ending.
