  • DirectX issues

Couldn't find a forum for this so i'll just post it in general:
K i'll make it short: bought a game, install says DirectX 9.0c or higher required, i go to Start/Run/Dxdiag and it says that i have DirectX 9.0c ... so yeh ... that confused me ... any help would be appreciated

    Thanks In Advance

Since you had already several issues: Could it be that your DirectX 9.0c isn't working properly? Have you tried to re-install?

Hmmm, I have no idea right now, but maybe I can think of something.
And perhaps another member has an idea. Have some patience.
Hopefully we can solve this problem.

There are several reasons why this might not install properly, it could be the version of windows you are using, you might not have SP2, it could be that you did have direct x but you've done updates on your computer that keeps this version from working. You really need to go for better technical support on this. May I recommend going to this site:

                  http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/Pages/default.aspx

They are great for giving support on this particular issue. I hope this helps.
